in 5 billion years, it will be sad to see the Earth engulfed in a red giant, but we willprobably be able to move the Earth to the appropriate distance by then.
Although fundamentally I agree with you, WBC is so heinous, I really have no problem seeing anyone step on any of their freedoms. They really should all be locked up in a loony bin.
If only, I have been using Linux (mostly Ubuntu) since 6.06, but I can't get the rest of my family to use it. My wife needs Microsoft Office for dealings with the school district that requires it (she is a teacher) and Girl scouts also require it (she is a troop leader). My son can't play a lot of his games on it. My daughter used it for a while, but got tired of fighting the occasional program that would only run in windows. Also, commonly school wants homework done with Microsoft Office, although they are starting to use Open Office more.
Until (most) all the software companies embrace Linux, it will never be a real alternative.
I am not sure how to label it, but primates lack the ability to build on achievements of previous generations. In a number of ways, they are as intelligent or more, than humans, but that is a real road block. If that gene covers that, it would make a lot of sense.
I thought the same thing, is there another instance where they have "failed"? I would think it is just a matter of time. What effect does it have on their "brand" if they do fail?
It would freeze the water around the shark.

Keep a strand of DNA "alive" in your computer?
How this could possibly be cost effective? I mean even in foreseeable future, the cost would be so much more than what ever they could gather.
All this will do is make people blind, maybe burn out a camera ccd.
Or bring down a plane....

Sounds intriguing, Go on...
I actually like 7 over XP. I always dual boot Linux & Windows, currently Ubuntu & 7.
Roll Windows 8 back to Windows 7?
that means a... well, actually nothing coming from an AC.
I would think that would make it easy to run their apps/programs in Linux.
But as someone else said, is there anything to run?
