The reason PC gaming is dying is console gaming. Many new PC games are built so that they are easily portable to the latest consoles, and in the process any advantages the PC holds over the console is whisked away.
Deus Ex 2 is the quintessential example of this, how a great--possibly one of the best games ever made was killed by the consoles.
Build a similar device to emit noise at a slightly different frequency. The result will be horrible sounds as the two waves interfere. The horrible sounds will seem to come from both your source and the original source. You may get the blame but at least the cops/etc will believe that an issue exists.
Are you sure that will actually work? All that it will do is modulate the amplitude, not much affecting the frequency of the sound. So the only people that will be able to hear these "horrible" sounds will be you and your fellow young people.
We feel sorry for the people of your historically important island, but for the rest of us, this is great news. We'll just wait and see how this 'police-state' experiment of yours turns out, and learn the lessons from that.
Please, speed up the Orwellization of your fine country, so that we may arrive at our conclusions the sooner.
Much thanks in advance, Rest of the World
Dear Rest of the World, shitty legislation is like a lot like dung. If your neighbor fills his back yard with it, you're going to feel it too. All of the sudden, every single asshat in your country will cry "Hey! They have this-and-that-asinine-law in the UK, we want it too, since it works so well!"
Did you just turn 35? It seems like movies are pitched at the demographic from teenagers to mid-thirties. By 35, you've seen every trick in the Hollywood book, so nothing seems fresh. Everything strikes you as a copy of something you've already seen.
I submit it's not that the movies have been so bad lately, but rather that your sensibilities have changed.
I have yet to hit 20, and I think that 9.5 out of 10 movies today are so bad and so obviously ripping off older movies it's just insulting.
"Home atlast after another long day in the salt^H^H^H^Htext mines.
We lost four more miners today, bless their souls. The foreman kept insisting they'd dig another tunnel between bicycling and Tour de France. They told him it was too dangerous, but no... he never listens. One of these days... They've got us working 20 hour shifts in the abyss that is the text mines, barely pay us enough to afford the rent, I'm telling you, one of these days..."
1 lot = 12.8 grams, but unfortunately this is a measure of mass, not volume.
Seeing as how some fruits float (like apples), and others sink (like bananas), and that probably adds up to about 50/50, we can assume it has the same density of water. (If something floats, it is less dense than the liquid surrounding it, and if it sinks, it's denser).
Therefore, a lot of fruit is about 12.8 mililiters of fruit.
BTW... there was never a formal internment of German-Americans because 2nd or 3rd generation Germans looked just like a typical white American. Japanese-Americans were much easier to identify. I suspect that if Al Queda was a primarily European organization, we wouldn't have companies like Western Union selectively rooting out potential terrorists.
I think you will find that most first generation German-Americans looked a lot like your average Americans.
Uh, it might just be me, but when is this going to be energy efficient? Last time I checked, the moon had a quite significant gravity well. Not as deep as Earth's, but still we're speaking tons of minerals to be transported...
Probably closer to rods from god.

In the words of Admiral Ackbar: It's a trap! ;-)

Natural selection in action.
Arabs? Chile is in South America for crying out loud!

Which brings us to the obligatory question: Is it a bird?! Is it a plane?!

PC games series that are adapted to consoles (at the expense of gameplay) make me cry. Deus Ex II for an instance, that made me cry.
Such insensitive clods! Don't they realize that there are robots out there in just as big a need of emergency oil transfusions!?
Not to forget:
You have: bushel
You want: pint

But what happens if an oil tanker crashes into the train? Since we all know boats can drive on land from watching Speed 2.
If you're that worried about safety, take a 650,000 ton oil tanker!
What's the chance of it going Hindenburg on you(r kid)?
More like "In-truder in the driveway. The cata-pult is ssstanding by. It'ssss time to choossse."
1. ???

3. Profit!
Soylent ice cream is people!
It is the quintessential computer chair.

Speaking as someone who wants to bring back "thou" as the second person personal pronoun: No way!
Ext2...Ext3...Ext4
Wait... I think I can detect a pattern. The next number has to be Ext7½!
What ever happened to the DMCA?
