I thought their choices were quite poor. I'll leave it at that. If youve never played hitman 2, go download the 2 demos. The game is just unbelievable, with so much detail, but manages to run very smooth on my semi old 8500.
its like a TV smack dab on the middle of your screen. Usually for that series "24." and its only on "sometimes," I go there daily, and I see it about once a week.... probably thursdays since they want all the viewers watching for fridays, or maybe fridays, who knows.
Chances are you are if you are reading this post which will mean you have been reading for at least 30 minutes at the minimum. Would you want to be charged for reading? 'thought so.
I'm not going to say windows makes a better server. They don't. Linux has been way more effecient, unless you spend big bucks on a badass box for your doze.
However this whitepaper is probably not from microsoft. Most M$ employees would know that you can shut all the services that don't need to be running just by using three clicks to access Computer Management.
Security is in the hands of the holder, and just becuase most windows admins are morons and don't devote thier lives to learning about computers, doesn't mean theres a couple people out there that know what to do.
The ability to use just about any application in a crash free environment.
I've been using win2000 since it was leaked and the only reason why it has crashed (on two completely different platforms) is becuase of bad initial drivers back in nov of 1999.
Why would I use anything else? I don't run a server.
There was a guy who demonstrated a way to transmit data over the electromagnetic field surrounding every powerline. ALl you do is plug your computer into a power outlet, basically. The throughput was incredible, and latency everywhere would be under 10ms, as they demonstrated.
Anyone hear from these guys lately, or at least know a url, if they havn't been bought out be the telecoms?
you know the one I'm talking about. "God cannot be contained within a church, only in your heart." -JC
I guess it wouldn't since the vatican doesn't reconize it anyways. I've only seen history channel stuff about the first dead sea scroll supposedly written by Jesus - does anyone have a non geocities url that is informative?
Its about time theres a song writer to whom's high priced lawyers havn't brainwashed into thinking they are getting ripped off. I know I bought metallica albums before their napster crusade, but I flat our refuse to now.
And what about cd's that you've either gotten lost or stolen, or broken even? I think you should be entitled to download the song if its availiable. After all, why not? I'm sure I wasn't the only one really ticked off when I bought that one blind melon album and found all the songs except for the one that they played on the radio all the time (you remember, allllll I can say is that my life is pretty plain *breum brah brerum* I like watching the pluddles gather rain*).
And don't forget the main issue here. EXPOSURE. Time to take away the strangle hold a couple of stuffed shirts think about what is "good music." I stopped buying music all in all not long ago, but when I did stop, the last couple albums I bought were from those labels that were created by the songwriter. Ok, so *maybe* I didn't pay for that kid rock cd, but how long could you really listen to that one for?:) Anyways, back to my point that the little guys really benifit from this. If i'm listening to an mp3 stream and hear a really jazzin song that i've never heard of the artist before, I might buy it.
Otherwise, they would have just ended up in the fatcat's rejection bin.
It was when Half Life first came out, and it had some bugs. This is the best error ever :

I'll be watching the churches closely, especially ones like the vatican which basically cut and paste religion as it is. What will those people say? I will find it intresting any way they change thier story... one hundred monkeys at one hundred typewriters =-/
8500 w/ p4 1.5 and it runs ut2003 pretty well. I'm sure ill have to get a new cpu and probably vid card when doom comes out, but until then, theres no reason why the 8500 is a bad card - that is before you get all the tweaks and such, otherwise the performance sucks.
I wonder if he used the same tweaks I use when he was benching his 8500.
I've built so many I can't count them and the only ones with problems are athlons. Actually, i've never built an athlon, but people always come to me with thier via/athlon troubles.
Everyone knows that... Sure some people might need dual xeons for high end graph apps, but most of intel and amd's sales come from people who play games. Sure a lot of the sales come from bigg corps, but those decisions, I bet, are based on what someone that knows a bit, and has probably played a few games on.
Hitman 2 uses the exact same engine as MAFIA. If you look at them, they are identical, and the clencher for me was this little screenshot of mafia.

Thats exactly the pissing stance that you see so often in hitman when you sneak up behind someone.
All that being said, I'll have to try mafia, although I doubt it carries the whole assasin type genre that hitman2 does.

they have ads that just pop up on your screen no matter what you do. Its quite frustrating. I even have a pretty kick arse pop up killer from meaya.

or are you just happy to see me? I'll buy a mini PC the day someone tells me they get 99 solid FPS in CS.
