"There are people that have died for this country for our right to vote, and to take something that lightly, to say, 'I can be bought.'"
And people have died for your country for your right to freedom. Freedom is also your right to handle your vote you want to. Who are you [John Aiken] to decide how people make up on who they vote.
But the answer to "What design/architecture qualities are shared by all good software?" is actually: none. There is no golden solution for "everything".
And what about the Bible, Qur'an, or L. Ron Hubbard's work.
But on a serious note. The parent only said 4 pages, not the size of the pages or the font size. I think you can put a lot of information on 4 A0 pages using a 6pt font (using both sides).
... of legit users. A while ago I wanted to play Chronicles of Riddick: Escape from Butcher Bay, never came to it when it was "new", but it wouldn't work on my new machine with Windows Vista. The fix was easy, download the no-cd patch (the one with copyright protection removed) and it works without a single issue.
Copyright protection software often abuses certain OS features which could be "fix" in a security update and thereby rendering the copyright protected software useless.

One thing I really don't like is that a ANTLR grammar is limited to a single target language. You can use the same grammar to produce both a Java and C# parser. You need to make a few tedious changes to the grammar file. We currently have a grammar that needs to be preprocessed a bit before we feed it to ANTLR to produce the parser. It's only about 5 lines in the grammar that need to be changed.

What use has twitter!?
how useful can one-liners even be!?

PS, I'm not an USA citizen, hence the "your".
Not a single copy protection scheme worked on a closed OS like Windows. How would this even work on an open system like Linux.
It will only annoy (legit) customers.
Guess I now have to get back to my TPS report.
why else would you pay more.
I would rather say: composability

Yeah, too bad you can't say the same thing about the USA.

What!? Outrageous!
I will never buy a single Apple product in my life. Ever. Just out of principle.
ps, Apple, please contact me via email.

It means that you have to fill the paper cassette of the printer with paper of the "letter" size.
