At least from what little I could see on the trailer they are returning the movies back to the Dark Crusader model.

The first two movies with Micheal Keaton were pretty good, but Val Kilmer and George Clooney pretty much killed off any interest I had in the movie franchise.

There is one hell of a difference between playing doctor and taking pictures of pre-pubesent children engaged in mock or forced sexual acts and pasting them across the Internet.

Natural impulses are all well and good, but they need to be guided instead of just let run free. My six year old son has trouble controlling his natural impulse to pound the living snot out of another kid because the kid took a book my son liked from the library, this is not a good thing. The same with sexual impulses. You need to guide the kids towards a healthier outlet, be it through education or whatever.

I took your post in the context of the thread so thats why I picked IE v Mozilla.

In regards to other packages sure there are plenty out there that don't meet up with the hype but there are also plenty out there that do. OSS is just as prone to hype as closed source. However the ones that do meet with expectations usually exceed them as well.

A blanket statement condenming all OSS projects as immature is just as bad as saying all closed source projects are bug ridden pieces of shit.

I ask this as a serious question not as flame bait. Keep in mind that the biggest bug Mozilla has had was actually a Windows problem(shell:// exploit) and the lack of features in IE relative to most other browsers.

As to the age of lake, this is basically a very well educated guess, by taking core samples of the ice above and determining rate of ice growth or shrinkage and comparing against data from the same period, a guess can be made. Also there has been a huge amount of conjecture about the validity of the claims that the Japanese wouldn't have surrendered without the bomb. IMHO the use of the bomb was more of a warning to the USSR.

Okay the problem with Creation Science is the fact that is based on the bible, a document which is biased and written by people who even by the standards of the day had little to no understanding of science. Evolution is a theory and as with all theories, it is yet to proved conclusively, however at the present it is the theory that best fits available evidence. When a theory comes along that can better fit the evidence then great.

On to your original question, the claim that the two basins has not touched in 500,000 years is a theory and will be proved or disproved by taking samples and comparing, if the samples prove to be similar then the theory may be disproved, however if the bacteria in the samples show drastic evolutionary differences and very few similarities then the theory gathers more weight. ain't science grand.
