Civil unions != marriage
A Civil union does not entail child separation or child support, settlements for infidelity, marriage tax credit, or any other marriage goodies.
I don't remember Bush ever saying he was against civil unions. If anyone wants to be a moron and voluntarily raise their income tax rate, I don't think anyone would have a problem with that.
"A saying goes that insanity can be defined by committing the same destructive acts, expecting different results. The continued voting out of fear should the opposing parties candidate take office, places major party voters inside this vicious cycle."
This was an on-air interview with Libertarian Presidential Nominee Gary Nolan before the primary.
I concede that Fox has not done a good enough job of giving attention to the libertarian party (or any 3rd party for that matter), I'm just saying they're better than CNN or any other network sans C-SPAN.
O'Reilly censors all his guests, just because 1 show did something stupid doesn't mean the 3rd party advantage defaults to another network. A search of CNN, for instance reveals 0 results for Badnarik.
Kennedy had a 37% approval rating in America when he died. He was also seen as yet another warmongering American with his fiddling with vietnam and the whole cuban missile thing (regardless of whose fault it was).
I wonder if there were any US presidents the world would have voted for in the past 50 years.
Moreover, it took a poll of over 20,000 people to find out the leanings of America within a reasonable margin of error. How is 34,330 polled over 35 countries supposed to be accurate. I thought there were 140 countries in the world totaling 20 times the US population.
I'm an Arizonan and I'm voting against McCain in the next senatorial election.
He's pro internet censorship, is anti-private sale of firearms, and pro USA Patriot Act (note the correct spelling of the USAPA).
Why do people like this guy? Oh yeah, he's so bipartisan (pro censorship == republican, anti-gun == democrat, pro USAPA == bipartisan). What a swell guy.. no.
And by the way, do you have any evidence it was Karl Rove who did the fake poll about McCain's adopted child?
For those who don't know, SOMEONE in South Carolina started calling random numbers pretending to do a poll in which one of the questions was "What do you think about McCain adopting a black baby?" (or something to that effect, in reference to McCain adopting a child from Bangladesh). McCain lost the primary, and consequently we get to hear about every lame excuse and nit-picking research into every single thing that happened, regardless of who did it and how many people were called.
Is it so hard to imagine that someone wouldn't vote for McCain, even over a douche like Bush?
Must you republicrats constantly bicker about this crap? You guys rig the freakin elections both in finance and locking down the debates and we STILL hear complaining about OTHERS getting special treatment? Be happy with what you have.
Wow, it took a blogger to take them down, what does this tell you about the media. No wonder Brokaw wants to get rid of internet news, they catch their lies.
I'm not a republican but this makes me really pissed.

TROLL! Slashdot is fair and balanced! Like the washington times!
It's odd that I'd agree with a self-proclaimed marxist... But it's true, people run around saying that a vote for a 3rd party is a wasted vote, and so the only other options are bad and equally bad.
I think it's your right to not vote if you don't want to, Also, a lot of these 'get out the vote' groups are targeting only small and specific demographics which they can overlay voting demographics onto as well.

When added to reports that FOX is censoring guests, it leads one to ask: Is this a democracy or a puppet show?
I see people from the Cato Institute one to two times a day on Fox news.
Also, look at these interesting articles hosted by fox news (the top 3).
IMO FNC is probably the 2nd best cable channel for any 3rd party (with C-Span dominating the 1st place spot).
As a Democrat, I find it appalling you'd stick up for an election-rigger like Katherine Harris.
Using technicalities to change the results of an election? That's so wrong.
Now I'm off to petition for Nader to get off the ballot.

My bad, misread this page.
I e-mailed Kerry the other day asking him about tort reform, and the bastard hasn't replied yet! I can't believe it, I'm even in a swing state!
Obviously Kerry Doesn't feel the need to take the time to answer.
Well, Bush has a MBA, Vs Kerry's Bachelors in law, Bush is also in the "88th percentile on the verbal and 86th in math" by today's standards (based on his SAT scores).
Not that a MBA means anything, Kerry could've dabbled in rocket scientist in his 27 years as a politician. We all know he loves to hang around NASA.
The pricing basically tells you what each is meant to be. The iMac is most definitely not meant to cannibalize PowerMac sales.
Maybe the iMac IS just a mid-range computer.. but that's still now excuse for the LOW-range video card.
People seem to forget that the ATI 9600/9800 + Nvidia 58xx/59xx are now mid-range cards, with the Nvidia 68xx + ATI Xx00 at the high end.
The 5200, as the previous poster said, isn't fit for even many mid-range graphics games that came out in '03/'04, and Doom III isn't even a question.
You're probably going to be using this computer for 3-4 years. Imagine the games out NEXT year, let alone 2007/8.
Plenty of people aren't forced off the ballot by idiots who want to force people to vote for someone they don't want to.
In Arizona, Nader got several thousand more petition signatures than was needed to get on the ballot.
The Democrats in the state analyzed every single petitioner until they finally found one or two who were from out of state.
Without those one or two petitioners, Nader would still have had way more signatures than was necessary.
They conveniently waited until shortly before or after the signatures were due in order to file their lawsuit, and they were successful.

I'm voting Libertarian, btw.
I was at your rally at Beefeaters in Phoenix, but I missed the chance to ask you about tort reform:
What is your position on tort reform, and what reforms should be done?
What about libertarians? Chicks dig us!
Oh wait...
You were beaten with a sack of Goldwater '64 buttons as a child, weren't you?
Linkey linkey
If that doesn't work, it'll be here

In other words:
..
BUSH '04!
If you candidate wont carry your state, just stay home or vote for Bush! YEEHAH!
You can vote for a person you despise, I'll vote for someone I like and agree with.
Yeah, and since it looks like Bush is going to win, you'd better vote for him because otherwise you'll be wasting your vote.
