    So, how do you install and setup a server without having a monitor attatched to it?

    I suppose you've never heard of SSH? Just make a couple changes to the Gentoo LiveCD and it will automatically start up a SSH server that lets you do the install remotely.

    Trademark issues, I believe. The software package is technically called "OpenOffice.org", because something else was already named OpenOffice.

    That's almost exactly what neural networks do. They are essentially re-programming themselves based on the results of their actions, without actually writing lines of code.

    Informative? YHBT. Unless your partition table is completely erased, it's usually trivial to rebuild with cfdisk. And it wouldn't affect the data on your disk at all.

    The problem with using an old computer is that it's a waste of electricity. If you want a custom x86, Linux-running firewall/NAT, get a mini-ITX board.

    Not always. The original theatrical release of Star Wars was just "Star Wars". It was only after its success that Lucas decided to make the whole nine-episode story, and he added "Episode 4: A New Hope".

    I'd think that since TCP and UDP are universal, you wouldn't need a special Mac-only server. Guess they couldn't get the client to be 100% compatible with the old servers and the Windows clients? Huh.
    In any case, Sony/Verant/EQ has a long history of screwing over its paying customers. So no surprises here.
