    Well, nevertheless..

I for one will be buying 9.1 professional.
I use 9.0 pro now and am very happy with it.
I tried bringing it up with the 2.6 kernel and KDE 3.2 but wasn't happy with that. Things didn't integrate well so I backed it down to a stock 9.0 package and all is well.

Having them integrate all the goodies ensures that everything will work as expected and I'm more than happy to wait (what else can you do?) for 9.1

I'll be traveling over to Fry's to pick up my package of 9.1 Pro when it hits the shelf.
I want the DVD and CD's and books and support. And I don't mind at all paying for it because in my 27 years of working with/on computers, Suse is the BEST operating system package I have used. Everything else is just second rate and inferior.

I'm staying with Linux and my money goes with Linux. After two years of running Linux I've not been hacked once, I've not gotten ONE SINGLE VIRUS, I've not had to look at one single pop-up add that I didn't want to look at, I've not had to look at one single BSOD, I've not had to reboot one single time unless I chose to.

I don't have to spend all my time in a panic worried about patches and viruses and other such nonsense. Neither do my friends and family, I converted them to Linux too. Now I don't have to worry about them either.

What does Windows offer me that I can't do with Linux? Nothing. Why should I use Windows which is constant trouble and extremely high maintenence and is a constant cash drain, versus the ONE TIME PURCHASE (if I choose to purchase v. free download) of a Linux distro, in my case Suse, that is mine, with no strings attached and will cost me no further money, ever?

Once I own the $89 Suse distro I never have to spend another penny on it or any other software, ever. It works. It's secure. Anyone that says it isn't is a stupid SOB or a liar or both.

and the theaters installed super huge sub-woofers for the effect. When the quake hit, they lit off the sub-woofers with sub-sonics that literally made you shit your pants in terror, not expecting it of course, and no one had ever experianced sub sonics like that before. It was awesome. The speakers were trucked from theater to theater in a semi along with the reels.

A few years ago, one of the local theaters folded and they tore it down. They still had a set of the "Earthquake" speakers there and they THREW THEM OUT. I would have picked them up and brought them home but I didn't have a truck at the time :( There must have been $1,000 worth of hardwood plywood in those boxes...
