Maybe people far enough out of town that they can't get broadband? ISDN is known for it's long range, and a 128kb connection is probably a tad cheaper than a full or partial T1 to get:)
Want fun, leave them in the sun for a few hours. I've left Fry's reciepts on the front seat of my car when I take the merchandise in (so I wouldn't 'lose' them, heh) and when I come back out the next day/later that evening, the entire thing is invisible.
I'm sure it's great alternative to a complete 'no return' policy however;-p
Maybe he has a bookie and bet his 2.5 million that he'd lose the match during that episode?
I dunno about you but to me it seems like the 'smart' way to double or triple your money rather than keep answering inane questions on a stupid gameshow;p
I dunno, but it certainly makes it hard to get that phylacetry for lichdom done in time if they have to use your remains to do it.. now if only you can make one out of someone else and dump your soul essence into it... immortality could be yours!
Judging by VC I'd say 9 months to a year for a Windows release, and a cold day in hell to a linux release;-p
Rockstar is not a linux friendly gaming company.. nor open source, I mean they released GTA *1* as freeware, not open source, that kinda says something, no?
Among other things having a rip of a PS2 game doesn't help you unless you have a chipped PS2 and a dvd-rom burner, and maybe it's just me but both of those things cost more money than just shelling out for the game... now Pre-Release gaming might be fun on the other hand;p
Hey, better than my C++ class.. I helped a girl in that class, and she didn't even give me dinner! (even worse, she gave another guy both dinner and her phone number, and he never called her back cuz he thought she drank and was promiscuous and thus not his type;-p)
Yeah, I mean I once had a girl in a programming class say she'd do *ANYTHING* to pass the class, so I had her buy me dinner in exchange for helping her study, then never saw her again!
Funny.. I always found, as soon as you make a commitment to one, you find one better to invariably spend your paycheck on getting to come home with you;-p
Damn straight, anyone remember Flight Simulator for the Commodore 64?;-p

Considered Sending them a version of it written in C instead of C++?;-p
While I understand your complaint, there are a *LOT* of projects with this exact same stance. All code must be written in C. Trying to get them to implement code that will lower their audience (not to mention considering some of the new 'differences' in C/C++ syntax in gcc 3.4+ suddenly dropping a piece of C++ code in not only forces users to have a C++ compiler handy, but also might force developers who are used to C syntax to find themselves stuck figuring out what they have to change now to make their 'proper C' code into proper C++ code.
Linux was a year late, mac was like 1.5+.
Even though I'm a linux guy I kept track of the Mac release because of what a fucked up job they did promising 'simultaneous releases'
Whatever happened with that project? I dug around all over the internet looking for something similiar since I picked one up, and I'll be damned if I could find anything that would even initialize the darn thing, much less draw to the screen.
Because the next step is to generate 'fake' OS fingerprints for the client computer, thus insuring not only must someone reply with the right sequence, but also send back the nuances of a specific OS to do so... kinda like recieving a callback to which you must reply in the proper accent before you'll be allowed in:)
The above is completely conjecture, but it sure does sound cool;p

I actually got one of those the other day at a McDonald's inside the Walmart ;-p Now how's that for staying on topic ;-p

OMFG, I played that game like 10 years ago and never even thought of that x.x
WTF, this is SA, you don't use baseball bats when you have a perfectly good dildo just waiting to beat down some bitch ;-p
With a large, pink, double dildo ;-p
Definitely not ;p But that doesn't mean he didn't have somebody do it for him ;p

I thought that was an adult themed fps... ;-p

They're know as 'Scientists' and 'Security Guards'... You didn't really think Gordon was straight, did you? ;-p

G550's back are, but the Parhelia series aren't.

Yeah well, it's what I get for going to a Junior College instead of a 4 year university ;p 5 years and still not a single decent girl ;p

Sad part is this is all true.

Anyhow, my 2 cents.

They already stated in face, no they wouldn't because Hasbro doesn't want any D20 property being 'given away' or something.
May be complete bullshit though, I quit believing anything positive or 'not our fault' that Bioware said 2 years ago..
