BitDefender understands Mozilla Mail/Thunderbird's mail format, and properly deletes infected messages from your mail folders. It doesn't integrate with Thunderbird, though.
XPKey.exe no longer works with XP SP2, because they aren't just banning certain CD Keys, they are banning most possible corporate keys, which works out to 99.99999% of the ones XPKey makes.
They are bannign them based on Product ID. All non-640 PIDs are banned, and most of the ones in the 640 group are, as well.
To find your PID, right-click on My Computer and hit properties to bring up the System control panel. The PID will be right under the "registered to" section. It will be, e.g., aaaaa-bbb-ccccccc-ddddd. If bbb is not 640, you or definately out of luck. If it is 640, feel free to give it a shot. Or, you can slways make you a new CD Key that works.:D
Yep, there's a new keygen (which, BTW, also makes keys for Win Server 2003 Corp, but we aren't concerned with that right now). It's called MSKey. Start it, set Product Family to "Windows XP Pro. VLK", set Product ID range from 640-500 to 640-600, and gen away.
Here's the keygen in Base64 format... I hope Slashdot doesn't mangle it.
How long does MRAM last compared to standard flash memories? Is it suitable for, say, a swap file, or will it die after a couple hundred thousand writes?
Frankly, Foobar2000 is a hella nice program, but it lacks one major thing: a media library. No, sticking all your stuff in one playlist is not the same thing. Also, I haven't found iTunes to be quite as slow as everybody seems to say, although its mem usage is pretty bad.
I dreaded using iTunes, but I had to use it to DJ for a party once, and now I haven't looked back. It is my main music player.
phpBB Fetch All isn't a blog system, but it would be quite handy for writing yours. It is a library of functions for getting data out of phpBB without having to know the phpBB databse structure or SQL.
Far Cry is the best single player FPS game I've played since, well, Half-Life. It has some great voice acting, and the graphics are also excellent. DX9, though, so there's no Linux version.:(
I also highly recommend WebRoot SpySweeper. It is a bit expensive, but in my experience works even better than SpyBot - high praise indeed. Too bad the GUI sucks.
Have you actually tried ATi's drivers in the past 4 months? IMO they have _finally_ caught up to nVidia's driver quality. Well, except for no super-sampled FSAA.
You can get Tyrian 2000 from Home of the Underdogs. The ads aren't quite as funny, but it's still the same great gameplay.
It works in DOSBox 0.61, but is slow and sound is buggered. Runs fine in Virtual PC. For a special bonus, go into the setup program, select graphics detail, and press W. Wild detail, baby!

Does this work with ScummVM? Or is it made in an entirely different engine?
Thanks you.

There's also Inno Setup.

...being the fact that iTunes looks slick and Lsongs looks like shit. Other than that, yeah, it is a near-perfect rip-off.
Far Cry is the best single player FPS game I've played since, well, Half-Life. It has some great voice acting, and the graphics are also excellent. DX9, though, so there's no Linux version. :(
I would much prefer WMA and WMV to be hacked! I find that much worse than Apples iTunes!
Here's a link. I haven't personally tried it, since I don't have any MS DRMed files, but I've heard it does actually work.
Dude, you rock. I agree with virtually everything you take a stand on. Too bad I'm not in Nebraska...
I also highly recommend WebRoot SpySweeper. It is a bit expensive, but in my experience works even better than SpyBot - high praise indeed. Too bad the GUI sucks.

You're in luck. From the 1.5 changelog: "Supports 98lite 4.7 Chubby and Overweight."
Can't forget sneaking around corners and capping marines with a magnum, without their buddies even batting an eye. :D
I don't see why Apple can't add a proper gapless playback mode like Foobar2000 has.
Why is it sad? I think it's quite all right.
It's not free, but it works better than anything else I've tried, including AdAware and SpyBot. Too bad the interface sucks.
SpySweeper
Oh, yeah. Hitchhiker's. Duh.
*smacks head* Grr... what movie is that from? I can't remember for the life of me...
Home of the Underdogs
:P
You could've, I dunno, Googled it.
DOSBox is a PC emulator, sort of like Bochs, but designed explicitly for running DOS games.
I heard it would only run on Skynet. :(
Not to mention it was damn funny. :)
You can get Tyrian 2000 from Home of the Underdogs. The ads aren't quite as funny, but it's still the same great gameplay.
