There was something several years ago about a company with a money back offer if you weren't pleased with their porn / product (I forget which) and they issued a check from something like "Anal Rape and Masturbation company" and they made a bunch of money because everyone was too embarassed to cash the check. I think it might have even been on Slashdot.
I do that and still have trouble seeing some people. They seem to like to line up with my door post and make if very difficult.
My biggest driving grip is no one uses signals anymore (indicate for the british among us). They just hook their wheel violently into the other lane. I guess that they don't realize that 9 times out of 10, the person to the left or right will let you in if you signal, but I'll be damned if i'm going to let you in if you're not signalling.
How many people are going to say sniff and repeat the sequence. You still have to get through the service after it opens. The whole point is that they don't know what is going on in the first place. And rotating keys are a good idea anyway. I like this idea for running some kind of server behind your ISP that normally doesn't allow such things. When I had excite@home I would regularly get firewall logs that said "authorizedscan.home.com" portscanning me.
I doubt killing the stripe is going to cause a big deal anyway. All they have to do is run your license number (or SSN, which is the same in many states)
I think this info is more along the lines of offline data. So in the instance that their database is down, they can still get some general data on you. Also, those 2d barcodes... Anyone remember the old Macintosh magazines that had those in the back and you scanned them in for free programs?
Andy Tenenbaum, he's still mad at Linus. And he wants Linux to look bad by accepting money from SCO to write a virus that attacks them in the name of Linux.
does this take into account rotating the images if the camera doesn't automatically do it when you take a portrait vs a landscape?
You can rotate in image in an image viewer without modifying it. But in a court room, they usually print the pictures out. In that case, rotate them manually using your thumb and forefinger.;)
I get mad when they send me back a "copy" of the original e-mail + virus.
A copy of the original e-mail is included. email.txt 153KB
My throw-away account on Yahoo is always full with "Delivery Failed" 153KB and I have to keep clearing it out every 2 days or it becomes useless for doing it's designed job. Being my spam trap for websites that require my e-mail.
It notably does not use fossil fuels in the process.
:-)?
It'll never make it in this country. Bush and Cheney will make sure their funding gets pulled.
That's easy enough. We just need to fight big oil with big corn.
At nine pounds thats the cheapest machine I've seen in ages - or are we not all talking British?
Nah the british couldn't figure out how to make it leak oil.
but isn't including GNOME 2.5 (a development version) a little, un-savery?
Actually Gnomes with a little butter, rosemary and garlic can be quite savory.

So now the only barrier is the speed of light? Or do I need a nice warp core sitting in my living room to overclock?

I've been having trouble connecting to it since the middle of last week. And I work for MS! So what's the official answer? Dunno, it's MSN's baby.
Well I had heard about it, but never the movie.
I think I might get some customized checks with the goatse man on them, I wonder how many would be cashed?

Then just contact the next to the last person and subpoena the records about who the customer is.

If it has a PPC and you know someone WILL get Linux to run on it. You could have your cheap Mac On Linux box running OSX.

I am wondering how controlled their access is to the web after Saddam's fall.
I suspect some people are seeing what a caucasian female looks like naked for the very first time.

Anyone with half a brain should be able to decide in much less than a second to buy Coke in 12 packs from then on.

Because they will work cheaper than anyone in the US?
Floppies are so last millenium. I downloaded an "iso" of the whole thing.
