Or accept that it is one way trip. Send some properly qualified volunteers, who know full well that it is most likely one way. Pay 'em before hand, too, so they can enjoy it.
I used to work in a hospital, and most of the nurses and all of the PT department wote Rockports, with the Walker being very popular. A good "light" boot with custom insoles would work too.
One has to ask why do they all have the same price?
I used to work in a parking lot (professional speed bump) and there were 2 laundromats visible from my booth - a bar convienently between them. Anyway, every so often, the owner of one shop would decide to change his prices on the wash/dry/fold per pound service usually up, but down in the summer time. He'd go out, hang the new sign, and be done with it. Within a few hours, the other shop's owner will get in his truck, go to Home Depot and buy materials, and make a new sign - with the same price. Funny thing about it, you never knew which owner was gonna change prices when.
Seperate and segment your LAN. Second AP for shared wireless connected to a firewall (that blocks everything but http/https possibly), different IPs/subnets on the shared side, etc. Heck, maybe even get a second line in just to share, if you are in that kind of mood - a second phone line, plus dsl service on it here in the boonies where I live is less than $80/mo, including all taxes, fees, etc.
Been to the Gatherings here in Florida many times... then one year, there was a double kidnapping/murder, and some fsckers stole my truck. Nothing quite like hiking a few miles back to your vehicle, dreams of a quick trip to the springs for a swim and lots of fresh water, to find some A-camper (alcoholic homeless type person) setting in a old Lay-Z-Boy in front of a fire right where your truck should be.
Sure, limited in their term would mean that only ports 110 and 25 are open, for sending/recieving email. Heck, that sounds good... go for maximum WiFi coverage of an area, supply a i-opener like email device, limit attachments, etc. and advertise it as a limited 'net emial system only.
I don't care if the US Senate or House chooses to use MS Office or vi or whatever - as long as the documents they produce are of an open format (text, rtf, XML, whatever), and can be read by us Citizens (and others, why not?) wihtout needing to have a particular piece of software. Same can be said of exchanging data between various levels, types, and branches of government.
Not to mention that other parts of the fair use say that availability or lack thereof (could each student get a copy via itunes, etc.? instead?), mow much of a work is used (can you get by with 30 second snippets?), as well as dollar value of the stuff copied will weigh heavily on how a ruling would be made. And of course the educational use.
IANAL, but I do work in educational technology. We've had instructors who have contacted publishers and gotten written permission to distribute some old software, tutorials written in ancient applications that require a license to distribute, etc. on CD via checkout in the library, just like any other book, map, etc. Also, could you setup a "readonly" stream service with something like QuickTime broadcaster, which is only accessable either on-campus, via a VPN, or an authenticated course delivery system like WebCT, Blackboard, Angel, D2L, etc.?
One of Dr. Ferdinand Porsche's (not Ferry who created the 356, etc. but his father, who did the VW and early MB stuff) first cars was an electric that had motors at each wheel as well...
I'm all for BT and what it can do... but it still sucks. I had my upload pegged and I was downloading at 1-2K/s... Downloading now from one of the mirrors that was listed, and I'm getting 25-30K/sec
... Apparently one of the common methods is to use a shill to slip in before you so your laptop is sitting at the other end of the x-ray machine while you are still waiting to clear. Thief then takes off with it.
Last trip thru LAX, one of the "security" drones tried to get me to wait about 100 feet away from my work supplied laptop and other possessions, while he re-examined my shoes. Told him it wasn't gonna happen. He eventually agreed to me toting all my crap over, and then checking my shoes.
Honestly, this whole security thing wouldn't bother me too much if it was done with any common sense - and if it actually made me feel a little more secure.
A friend used to have a pair mounted in his late '60s MG Midget... Between that and the Weber carb and next to nothing for an exhaust, you really knew he was there
Actually, I do watch a little tv, but not much. Most of the time I'm either playing with my daughter or doing computer stuff - programming or playing ET, etc.
And its not a/. mentality - I just don't like the thought of paying nearly $10 to watch a movie where I have to deal with others. Easier to wait until the drivel comes to HBO, etc. At least then when I get bored I can go back to programming, etc.
Being the partent of a 3 y/o girl, I can say that NOTHING has the marketing power of Disney pricesses.
Of course, I've kept Barney out of the house completely, so I guess it could be worse.

A coworker has two of the old original macs sitting on her desk for posterity. I keep trying to get her to convert one to a fish tank :)
I did that... then we had 2 kids.
At least the mother in law went to live elsewhere before I lost the office.
Buy the combo, sell the rat on ebay.
That is of course assuming it isn't permamently attached to the kbd, and both are capable of operating without the other or parts thereof.
... I'd like to know what question he wishes the interviewer had asked, and what his response would be.
You think that's bad? Feel sorry for anyone with the initials S C O
Hey MIT - do you really need/use all 16.7 million IPv4 rotable addresses you have? Why not share a few?

Or is everyone just assuming it, and not needing the labels? http://www.politechbot.com/p-04973.html
I've not one problem with improving security, as long as the improvements really are and work.

Here I am, brain the size of a planet, and they want me to escort the human up to the deck...
Then obviously someone needed to either rewrite TFM or put out an addendum to it or something...
