    How ironic of an argument.

    PC gaming is where the small budget games are dying. Games like Katamari Demacy are succeeding on consoles, thanks to their huge installed bases. But on the PC, only the blockbuster games like The Sims and Half-Life 2 remain. Niche genres (flight sims, adventure games, etc) are dying left and right.

    1) Make a ton of different 30-second long songs, each of which contain a single sound effect. For example, you might have a bunch of them that contain a service desk bell sound, each song having the sound at a different time

    2) Wait for a 30-second commercial to use that sound effect. If the commercial plays the bell sound 23 seconds into the spot, well then, obviously they were using your song (the one with the bell at 23 seconds) as background music!

    3) Sue.

    Yeah, goddamn those newfangled Rush guys. And the Chambers Brothers and Deep Purple too. Today's bands suck! At least that hot new act Bad Company mentions how "bad" they are in their name. Wish I could say the same about the Moody Blues, Pink Floyd, and Emerson Lake & Palmer. God if I hear new rock radio play any more ELP, I'm gonna kill someone.

    Stupid argument of the day!

    So you can write on a piece of paper and make that one page magically go to multiple people? No, step away from the Xerox machine, you don't *need* that.

    Word processing is about a hell of a lot more than just legible writing. It's about making a data document and all of the flexibility that allows. A data document can be copied without limit. It can be edited without re-writing the whole thing over again (documents can be dynamic things instead of static things that have to be tossed out when change occurs). It can be searched in seconds.

    I mean, did you even *think* before posting?
