"11. The December 31, 2004 episode at issue concerns an FBI investigation into the disappearance and possible rape of a high school student. During an interrogation, a witness recalls a party held at the home of a teenager. As she recounts the details of the party, the program cuts to a "flashback" scene. The scene -- which forms the basis of the viewer complaints -- consists of a series of shots of a number of teenagers engaged in various sexual activities, including sex between couples and among members of a group. Although the scene contains no nudity, it does depict male and female teenagers in various stages of undress. The scene also includes at least three shots depicting intercourse, two between couples and one "group sex" shot. In the culminating shot of the scene, the witness exclaims to the others in the party that the victim is a "porn star." The action briefly returns to the present, as the witness pauses in her story, then the flashback resumes, as the victim is shown wearing bra and panties, straddled on top of one male character, while two other male characters kiss her breast near the bra strap. The lower portion of the panties is shaded, but she is shown moving up and down while the male teenager thrusts his hips into her crotch."
They dropped the firewire connector and screwed all of us early gen adopters so how long until they take away the standard connector and change it into something new? It will lock everyone out of all future upgrades and force everyone into getting a new iPod.
They have done it before so I am just waiting for them to do it again.
(I might be bitter but I still like my iPod more than any other mp3 player, even if I can't hook it up to my new pair of jeans)
It was the D&B at the Palisades Mall in West Nyack, NY. I went to go get a beer for a buddy and me and when I went to pay the Asian MALE bartender gave me a sort of wink and said "This one is on me". He smiled and pushed the beers towards me. I got freaked out and ran off.
"THE BARTENDER IS HITTING ON ME!" I said to my friends.
And then I thought about it a little more..
"Oh man! The bartender is hitting on me! This is going to be great"
I went back up to the bar, sat down next to my bartender friend and said "You know, I trust you. I want you to choose my drinks for the rest of the night. You pick what I drink tonight." And with that I spent the rest of the night making small talk and drinking for free. Eventually the friend I was with came over, I introduced the two and the bartender made us both free drinks. They were good drinks too. I'd say at least $6 or $7 a piece, premium mixed drink double shot things. At the end of the night he said it was all free of charge. I walked away to tease him and then came back a minute later.
"Hey, I really like you, what's your schedule?"
He wrote it on a napkin, I got his phone number, I gave him my friend's number, and we were on our way. Drunk as hell and still with full wallets.
Actually, the DS is selling well because of the games.
I am not a Nintendo fanboi but a gamer. There are loads of things I want to play on the DS. The only thing that almost interests me on the PSP is Lumines. It's the same with everyone else I know too. The DS has the games we all want to play. I don't know a single person with any interest in a PSP, all it's got going for it is its sex factor.. and it's load times.
I bought a 36" Sony big tube 4:3 HDTV. I don't get HDTV signals from the cable company in my area and my condo faces the wrong direction to get satellite signals.
So why did I get it? Videogames! PS2 in progressive scan / wide screen (for the games that support it) is pretty. I also have an up converting DVD player that boosts the signal to 1080i. It might not be true HD but it sure looks pretty.
Where does one get these Japanese arcade save cards? I have seen Japanese Initial D machines in my local arcade and they also have the save card slots but I have no idea how to go about getting a card for them.
I use GAIM here and when I signed on this morning I saw them, I had no idea what was going on, I thought it was some kind of new GAIM feature since I just upgraded a day ago to the new version (I am slow on those things)
Why would game companies make something for people who can't play it if going for the lowest common denominator of console systems would yield the most profit? If they make a game for the non hard drive system both groups of users will get to play it and they get more sales. Hard drive games would reduce their market share, and companies usually don't like that with huge blockbuster console games.
Addons always fail.. Sega-CD, Nintendo 64 Memory Pack.. they always end up being niche products.
Now that was an MMO world to live in! I saw the anime before ever even playing an MMO so that was what I thought things were really like, minus the whole VR bit.
So I went out and bought FFXII. And CoH, and tried SWG, and CoH, and DOaC.
Nothing was as good as the anime.
Instead I went out and bought the soundtrack to the show and just listened to that. Much more fun in my opinion then the current crop of games out there.
But one day we will have the intense immersive world that The World was in.hack//sign. Until then I will just sit here in reality.

That seems a bit intense for me for broadcast TV.

I got a kick out of it at least.
Too bad I have no mod points.
At least it did for me the one time I went..

What kind of video card are you running in that 2400?

Yeah, sure, you can do all that or just do..
b) Get a wireless adapter for it
Kids everywhere post song lyrics on their blogs all the time.
Does this mean they will be sued for putting a song with some meaning to them on their websites during a time of childhood angst?

I hate to ask it but has there been any footage of any game for the Rev at all yet?
Sure, the controller is nice, but has there even been a single screen shot about what the content on the system is going to be?
Does this mean there will be more than just 1s and 0s when it comes to things? Will there be more complex things going on?
Any place to get the online for us blokes stuck in the USA?

Maybe its being pushed in phases?
Here are some pictures for those of you interested.. The Wal Mart down the road from my house Phillipsburg, NJ
Are the videos on iTunes only for play on the iPod or can I play them on my PC through iTunes?
Any plans on releasing a Linux version or is this going to be yet another Windows only update?
It was the game that started the whole survival horror genere that things like Resident Evil are today.
Was set in the 1800s (or early 1900s?) and was a slow moving creepy game with elements of that whole Cuthlulu thing in it.
Woo hoo.
Boardwalk towns like Seaside have more arcades then they know what to do with.
We'll at least see it there.
Does OOo have an option yet to do default white text on a blue background in it's document editor program?
MS Word does.
How can it be that no one has mentioned The Dopefish?

Not only is it not in use yet, thus uncrowded, but we'll all have the extra benefit of Hulk-like strength.
At the rate we're all going GTA will be outlawed and the only thing the PS3 will be allowed to publish at launch will be a new Putt Putt game.
