Just for the sake of accuracy, normal distance vision primarily utilizes parralax ("stereo vision"), but as in all things, the mind is rather able to compensate for losses, so no doubt your's has learned to use relative sizes.:) Of course, relative sizes assumes some passing level of familiarty with the object, and may not be absolutely useful for close encounters with a runway, or perhaps with fractally-shaped atmospheric phenomena, neh?
I just noticed that, for a one time fee of $10, you can get an account on Second Life. You cannot, however, own land, and you get less income than a monthly payer.
Originally, I installed RedHat 5.0 on my old 486 because I needed to plug it into a cable modem, and Windows 3 just didn't cut the mustard. Ironic, because it probably would have handled it (in hindsight), but to my uneducated eyes, it seemed that it'd be easier to do under Linux (and, admittedly, it probably was easier, since my only goal was connectivity, and I didn't really do anything requiring a GUI in those days.
Hell, I first used it in the mid-nineties, and I'm near-religious. Infix is so slow when you're doing simple (complex) arithmatic... You mean I have to use parentheses? WTF?
I'm not sure what the 12C is specifically for, but if a 32SII does what you want, you might be able to pick one up off eBay... Or, you MIGHT be able to call HP and get one out of them, if you play your cards right. Anyhoo, nice clicky keys, one clean line of text, RPN, enter key twice as big as any other key, and also placed in the middle. I loved my 32SII.
My web browser doesn't really support file browsing. I don't have a start meno, or a taskbar. I never print, so I couldn't tell you what those dialogs look like. I don't have a control center. Minimize, Maximize, and Close buttons just make sense... And do note, they were stolen from MacOS originally.
You sound like microsoft, "Oh! Oh! It has graphics! Copyright! Software patent!"
Actually... Planet-side (kind of) addresses both those issues. I don't play it, because I know I'll get bored with the genre.. But Planetside isn't an MMORPG. It's a Massively Multiplayer On-Line Squad-Based Tactical Combat... Like Tribes, but more people. In fact, exactly like tribes, but more people. It has the same things that made it fun; When you get good enough (your skill, not numbers on the screen), yes, you can go out alone and whoop ass. And, of course, the whole point of planetside is to beat the other races, so there are constantly epic battles raging across the planet. It was fun, but I don't want to play to pay Tribes.

...Or just install Linux, which is like $2,000 cheaper.

Not to douse your fire, but I've been using grpn for a while, and it works quite well.
My trusty old HP 32SII can also have equations inputted in infix.

I really thing that "girlfriend" is the word for it.
While I wholeheartedly disagree with your "one click" philosophy....
Debian packages automatically update X's menus. Updating all of the packages on a Debian box is one comment (apt-get dist-upgrade).
I have one of those in my office, John: http://www-zeuthen.desy.de/computing/services/prin t/model/HP_5_SiMX.html
Dude... You made a biography of CowboyNeal?
Ah, but really... Is it mypoia research... OR VOODOO WITCHCRAFT?!
Obviously, the Mac's are a superior system in many ways. (The fact they don't crash every 24 hours is a good start).
To be fair, Windows crashes every 24 hours, and OS X does not.. It has very little to do with the hardware.
