Yes, we do. Everyone complains about the monopoly that MS has, but noone seems to care about Google. If Google looses your site now, you are fscked for the time until it gets back in, due to its dominance. True, so my site ranks far better in Google than it does in other SEs, but that's only due to PageRank.
(On an off-topic note, does anyone else have problems with any browser except IE? I've tried konq and Moz (my normal browser) but they don't work...)
Just slashcode with its protection from page widening posts - trolls who would post long strings to stretch the page. Better than *shudder* horizontal scrolling...

There is the intel one, AFAIK... As I said in my other post (posted when your repy wasn't here - you beat me to it) I thought it was funding which would be needed... or something. *ahem*

Many people have said this already - their response is that they can't - it'd need funding.
Not breaking as such - but adding can have bad effects... Just look at the amount of images with useful data needed, hidden in ALT tags because people design for IE.
If a government sets up a voluntary recycling scheme for paper, cans or bottles I bet nearly everyone would still throw their rubbish in the bin!
Actually, in Bath (where I live) there is such a scheme - they give out green boxes for recycling stuff, and it does get used... Of course, this is the UK, if it was the US it would probably be different (not trying to troll or anything - just the way I see it is that the US tends to be more wasteful. If such a scheme gets set up in somewhere in america and it's a success, I stand corrected).
I got this one - "Intel Software Developer Tools" - for the story (/.) (they use doubleclick now?/me blocks via mozilla:P). Hmm... An AMD AND Intel ad on the same topic.../me's head explodes
Damn... That's something I think has never been 100% decided;). According to the manual it's "Big Fragging Gun", as well as on the BFG FAQ (yes, it does have one...).
"I'm not exactly sure why it died, except to say that we got linked from somewhere fairly sizable since we were getting several times the usual number of hits."
Given that the source isn't out, I'd rather stick to the official spyware version instead of using something that might give criminals an income, or take over my computer.
They can't release the source, for one reason... They don't have it. It's a hacked version of KaZaA.
I bought Lavasoft Ad-Aware Plus. It didn't really add anything I needed; sure ad-watch is nice, but I did it because I wanted to support them. £10 is two week's "pay" for me (I'm 15, too young for a job, got work experience soon - basically free underage labour for some company;)) - not that that has much to do with anything, since I don't know how much an average wage is, but I expect it's enough to still buy some things. I like to have a "box"; not nescasarily a box as such, something showing that my purchased product is superior to thou's illegal copy. I look at my Visual Studio 6.0 Enterprise (yeah, I know...) and see printed manuals, real CDs. Sure, many people may not feel the same, but I feel that you get more value out of software if you buy it.
OK, I think I covered about 500 things up there, but basically...
I like to have something saying I legally got this product
I feel that you get more value out of legally purchaced software. Mostly because you put your money in and - therefore - try to get your money's worth... I'm sure I wouldn't have played (and enjoyed) Deus Ex as much if I'd copied it.
(With smaller companies) I like to feel that I'm "helping" them by doing the right thing...
Of course, saying that, I do use Linux and open source software as well.
Anyway, if you can read my comment, and understand it, please send how you did it to "The Confusing Guy", 26 Oak View... (and no, that isn't my address...)
I edit table widths all the time in Word, and have NEVER had to go through a mass of dialogs to do it, either. Just click and drag... presto.
We're talking about precice changes - click 'n' drag is OK for basic resizing, but if you want perfect you need to have the details.
Or more likely, you're trying to directly translate word perfect actions into word actions, which given their fundamentally different underlying philosophies, obviously doesn't work very well.
As I said before, I don't actually use WP; but this is a feature I would use. I like to have full control over a document's appearance.
DAMN! So I won't be able go to my Office(r) to do some work (when I'm old enough to get a job:S)?

I think the parent was referring to the UD project

Still, I'd love to see a Linux client.

That would be Laura Bow 2 - The Dagger of Amon Ra, 1992 (IIRC). INFO
I've got it, it came as part of The Roberta Williams Anthology (Hey! A female developer!).
There was also another one - AGI (Adventure Game Interpreter)-based. The Colonel's Bequest - Some info...
I've always found adventure-style games fun, dunno why, maybe because I was brought up with them.
Dunno if the AC is trolling, but he/she did make a valid point - it's still not free unless they don't pay you.
Then again... fsck it. I bet someone else has posted this whilst I was reading.
Well, I couldn't really get 7.0 running on my server; X didn't work, quite a few other things I can't remember also didn't work... 7.2 was fine.
Read this article...
"Click and Run"
Quite an apt heading...
OK, it sounded funny to me at the time.. Don't ask me why.
I recently got a few DVD-style AOL cases... Of course I removed the CD and used it for a proper CD case... Shame it doesn't come on CD-RWs ;).
Hmm... Unreal Tourney suffers from loads of "lag" on maps with loads of people, but otherwise runs fine.
Hmm... Max Payne runs fine...
Hmm... Never played BF42

Enigmail Project Mozdev Site.
I've been using it for a while, and since this is only in Mandrake (AFAIK) I doubt it would make that much difference.
I guess that there isn't as much demand...
