Using a netbook for reading ebooks isn't good. I've read a few things on my 9 inch eee using fbreader and a netbook is just too big to be comfortable, especially reading in bed and the battery time is crap. It is a lot easier to get a comfortable position using an iphoned size gadget. My ebook readers over years have been Palm V, Nokia E61, Nokia N95 and now a HTC Magic (fbreader FTW!).
But there is a similar game coming out by Disney that will most likely actually be released (summer of 2009). Since it's from Disney I dont think there will be any Slipknot and Slayer songs.

To really save the laser you should use the independence exploit to load the HDLoader and that only works on Phat-PS2s. Slims must use an external HD connected to the USB port.

You can rip the disc with your PC. No need for the PS2 to do that.
Well, if people buy BR-titles from Sony studios maybe. I cant imagine that the they get many cents for each BR disc sold by other studios. Besides it is the money for the hardware license that brings home the bacon. It used to be somewhere around 20 USD for each DVD-player. Not that everyone payed it but still!
Install Quicksilver for OSX and you can get this for any browser. Everything will sort of auto complete like opening programs, just type in the first few chars, find email, contacts etc. like spotlight on crack.
I do not really think that the controller is that expensive. According to trade magasines one of the gyro chips used is the ADXL330 by analog devices and that just costs 5 USD at 1000 units. Buy 15 millions and i guess the price could be a third of that.
I have spent a lot of time trying to find ANY scientific paper that proves the HIV -AIDS connection without finding it. But since they say it is true in CNN it has to be. And I am serious.

Latency is a BIG issue with cdma/gprs/wcdma. Data traffic has lower priority over speech traffic. Jjust because the latency is lower than a normal human will notice over a voice connection does not mean that you can play your favorite FPS. I am posting this over a WCDMA network and usually get a 200 ping in Q3A (plays like a slide show).

Philips, which along with Sony and Pioneer has hundreds of patents covering all aspects of the DVD system, is administrating the granting of licences and the collection of royalties, which are then shared equally between the three manufacturers.
The Dutch electronics giant has set up a dedicated website -- www.licensing.philips.com -- which features a list of licensed manufacturers from its licensee database. Philips maintains the website is kept up-to-date with the latest licensing information.
A leading importer of DVD players, who asked not to be named, told ERT Weekly: "This is big news. We have found most low-cost DVD players do not hold the necessary licences.
A Philips spokesman said: "There are a number of manufacturers that don't have the necessary licences.

And how is this different to the Gamecube? A single exploit could start a way to play backups of all games.
Are the skulls of children made of something different than that of the average grown up human?

Hey! Anyone want to see my liver stones? Many people can scarcely believe the kind of stones that come out of them during a thorough liver flush. In actuality, the stones above came from both the liver and gallbladder. Green to bright green stones reflect a relatively healthy liver and gallbladder.

Remeber Wilco-Yankee Hotel Foxtrot? Similar thing that U2 is up against. Reprise refused to release Wilcos album. Everyone plus dog downloaded and yet it became a best seller. And it build up a massive hype long before it found its way to the stores. If it is any good people will buy it.
Another album that was out in the wild long before getting a real release was the last Whiskeytown-album. Im not sure how it sold though
"Meanwhile/finally, Reprise, Wilco's label, rejected the album, sparking a long search to find a new home for the band. Complaints abounded over the bizarre, noise driven elements of many YHF tracks. Songs leaked out online got a massive hype, and Nonesuch Records (owned by Warner) released YHF in 2001. Ironically, it reached #12 on the Billboard album charts, Wilco's highest chart position to that date and also charting in Australia."
I agree it looks cool, but wouldnt these next generation desktops require more keyboard short cuts and/or more mouse buttons (no Im not using a one buttoned mac-mouse).
Has anyone tried this? How do you an a pure practical basis tilt etc windows? Keyboard shortcuts, right click menus? It is the way the practical user input is configured that makes or break this idea IMHO.
With more options available for desktop navigation the traditional the one handed browsing seams to be slow, complicated and cumbersome. As someone else put it, bring on the WASD options!

You are probably thinking of Guitar Rising. The demo video looks wicked but it smells like vaporware right now.

You can rip the disc with your PC. No need for the PS2 to do that.
Or you could just press CTR+ALT+X and bypass the questions.
ugh, I get goatse flashbacks when I hear that phrase!
Great advice for us laptop users! Thanks!

But if your band sucks please do not.

What a bargain!
Dont know if they allow it but I have recieved similar items with a few marketplace orders.
Personally I would not recommend anyone to get a DAT in the year 2005. DATs can be very unreliabe and it is a hassle to transfer them for editing.
Get a Marantz PMD670 Portable Compact Flash CF Recorder (has phantom power, spdif in/out etc). You can use a external A/D and feed it spdif over coax.

IIRC but cost of a licence is around $25.
