In Total Commander (easily my favourite Windows application, never mind file manager) you can do Mark > Compare Directories to mark files in one dir that aren't in the other (the zip file is treated as a directory). Then invert selection and delete. No need for a clean tmpdir.

You get to interact with the people around you and, surely over time, are going to accumulate a few friends and maybe a desire to go out more.

Isn't it more like the opposite? When your social life is in the game, you'll desire to stay in the game more. That way an evil circle lies. That's what I've seen anyway though I'll admit I only have anecdotal evidence.

Even with severely gimped trial accounts the problems with spam and gold farming are rampant.

One thing they were able to do while I still played was make a bunch of crap characters, teleporthack themselves to a major city, hack themselves high in the air and fall down and die in a nice little pattern where the corpses of the characters in the ground spelled out the url of a gold seller website.

When I go to for example Myspace, the menus and controls are all in finnish, despite me having english set as my preferred language in Firefox. Maybe there's a setting in the Myspace preferences where you can change the language, who knows? Not me because I don't even know finnish well enough to find it. Sites like that are annoying to say the least.

The World of Warcraft way might be changing too. Blizzard have announced a premium service for an upcoming feature for playing dungeons with friends on other servers. You've been able to play dungeons with random people from other servers for quite a while so having to pay to do it with friends hasn't gone down too well within the community. Now, does this sound like a typical Blizzard move or a typical Activision one?

If enough people fork out for this or this CoD service, what other features will be put under the premium umbrella in the future?
