    Show me entrance exam percentages showing that, as a percentage, homeschooled students do better off than public or private schools and I'll go with you. Til then, I'll just say that if your kids are successful, good for them. Plenty of public schooled kids are successful (and some even moreso than YOUR kids), too!

    By "WE" you mean "YOU". I jumped ship about three years ago and transitioned to Apple products. Since then I've been through several OS releases and lived through innovation and an excellent user experiance. How long are you going to keep waiting and watch innovative companies pass you buy?

    Be real with yourself. if it weren't for the iPod and ITMS,Apple would hardly be a blip on anything right now.

    Can't wait to see someone hack the upcoming MacTel BIOS chips and folks can start making Apple clones with cheaper PC parts and a copy of Mac OSX. Then at least we won't have to buy Apple's overpriced hardware.

    Making a mistake is like, forgetting to study for a test. Burning yourself on a hot pot. Killing a plant because you forgot to water it.

    Sending out something that self-replicates, just because he wanted to see if he could do it, isn't a "mistake", it's "stupidity". If he were the first one ever to try it, then I could see it possibly being a mistake, but well, it wasn't, it's obvious he KNEW that others did it, so he has no innocence at ALL in this case. He knew what he was trying to do, and he set it out unto the world. He deserves everything he gets. And since he's a minor, his parents should be made to pay any fines he incurs for not paying more attention to what their kid was doing.

    Wow - umm...I raw install XP machines all the time. My hardware firewall protects the machines from pretty much all the random crap out on the net. I update to the latest patches, etc, etc, and everything is fine. Go figure.

    If you put any machine on the raw net, without a firewall inbetween, you deserve what you get for your idiocy.

    Funny - the memory in my PC is in plain sight, not under a HD cage. My case has tool-less HD cages so I just slide in my drive, plug it in, and I'm done.

    Oh, and my case also has tool-less case-opening. Imagine that.

    As far as the crap you have - you paid what, $1500 for your Cinema Display? Wow - this week, you can buy the new dell 24" flat panel for $899, free shipping. No way Apple can compete. And the monitor looks better on my PC (because I replaced a Cinema display) - imagine that!
