I can also say based on the fact that I work just down the street from these spammers. None of the building on 55 Bridge street are very big so the campany can't be very big either. Anyone have some good suggestions on how to annoy them in person without being arrested?
agreed. They are a ton of places on the net or ebay where I have paid $15 for cell phone and camera Lithium-ion batteries and $50 for notebook batteries (all new but aftermarket). We've been getting scammed for years on batteries.
90kbps is for high quality. With Vonage you can actually dial it down to only 30kbps. I tried it at both settings and I can't really tell the difference.
IANAA but just to split hairs, you don't have to pay FICA or medicare on winnings. Only on income. The topic came up too with the Oprah cars. They were $28K cars that most of them had to pay about $7K for.
I'd suggest you're think a bit small on your response. ~$15 per user. Maybe if they are just using file sharing. If they are using Exchange take on license there. Take on more when they have to "upgrade" Outlook and Exchange because the old version is no longer supported. Add in some more licensing for SQL Server too. Oh one manager is using MS Project, oh now half the company is yelling for it. Microsoft get expensive quick
First off my I use the fluxbox window manager on gentoo. Since fluxbox is lightwieght it doesn't link thunderbird and firefox together. So I can't click on a link someone emails me in thunderbird or a mailto link in firefox and have it come up. It does come up in mozilla. I know this is not an issue in KDE or gnome because those are feature full (also bloated) window managers. I do consider this a bug and assume that it will be fix sometime. My second reason is the html editor. I like it because it keep the html simple and doesn't put tons of extra crap into it like say Frontpage. Even the editor in open office I think goes to far.
This article was not written with a slashdot audience in mind. It was written for people interested in photography. Sorry but, in general people with a high interest in photography are likely be the creative right brain types apposed to the analytical left brain types here at Slashdot. Flash was the appropriate medium to deliver content to the target audience.
You're likely right about this however, you can buy "medical" grade blank CD-Rs. They cost more than your standard ones but, TDK claims that the have a 100 year life expectency. Here's a link I found that explains the difference.
Don't you realize that attitude is the cause of rants #1 and #3. The games and drivers will come once lot of people are on linux. As for #2, all digital camera software sucks wise up and just get a flash card reader for $5. Even on my windows box I prefer the flash reader.
Do they still? I know that this was true when the xbox first came out but, I'm sure that the price of P3 733s, 10GB hard drives, and RAMBUS memory have come down since then. Anyone have updated info?
Well, no. vegetable farming, in a nutshell, is taking pleasure in killing something else. I eat tomatoes and corn and enjoy both, but let's not pretend farming's anything noble or magnificent. Or anything more than overweight white people in boots and covered in fertilizer, havesting several football fields aday with a high-powered tractors. If you can't get to a supermarket, okay, I can understand why you'd need to farm. And if you walked up to your prey bare-footed and cut its roots with a knife, okay, I might even find respect for farms. As it stands now, though, I have nothing but contempt for the overweight rednecks who need a hoe and a vege plater to feel like man.
look at the monkey... look at the silly monkey... watch as it uses a stick (a.k.a tool) to extract termites from a branch and then visiously feeds on them.
I've taken classes at four different colleges as I start and restarted the journey of finsihing my degree. Everyone of the wants.doc format for papers and.xls for spreadsheets. I tried in the past to send PDF and html (two clearly open formats). Professors tossed it back at me. Now I write all my apers in Open Office on Linux but I double check that they are ok on my windows box with MS office.
yeah but most of those are the wacked country bumkin parents themselves. Therefore not of concern to any decent person raising kids. The city sucks, enjoy your 80% lung capacity.

Don't worry, the pace is about to pick up. I heard that 2.20 will be out in about two weeks. Seriously
Fire God? ok as long as that ass Trump doesn't take his place

yes what a concept, taxes should be simple enough for a layman to file them on his own.
Precisely why I bought an epson photo printer this year and not a HP.

Suppafly is correct. Could you imagine the fruad if they automatically mailed it out.
Unless the school you are transferring into is Stanford, MIT, or Berkly it doesn't matter.

Wrong, the cash medium will just transfer from the medium of paper to gold and silver and other forms of bling bling.

The stock market isn't the economy. It's more of a best guess of what the economy will be.
yeah except you have to pay like $500 for the phone and you still would have to pay the $175 fee if you end the contract early.
