I agree, While Telemarketers are annoying as hell, It is not that hard to simply say "No, I'm not interested" and hang up. Going off on stupid rants, insulting the caller and driving the unemployment rate skywards, achieves nothing but economic instability.
And this is a good thing? Mobile phones are just another thing I have to contend with everyday. I was at a party the other day and before everyone got drunk, the only thing they were doing was playing with and showing off their damn phones.
This is really an unfair comment. If you knew the community at all, you'd know that by making a single post pointing out a bug, or a requested feature, you'd sure as hell see it in the next patch. Epic are one of, if not the most responsive gaming company in regards to their customers.
UT2004 Adds significant gameplay additions, this isn't Secret Weapons of WW2, which everybody seems happy with paying full price for an expansion pack that mimmicks the freely distributed Desert Combat.
The new onslaught and assault modes could be sold as a new game entirely, And when you consider that Epic are planning nation wide discounts to previous owners of UT2003, You really do have no right to complain.
We'll forgive you for your evil-doings. Just send us Photo ID, address details, mother's maiden name, breast size and we'll let you go free. We promise.
Coudldn't agree more, in the end, its only the paying customers losing the time, effort, and if Windows XP Activation is anything to go by, a whole lot patience.
I cannot imagine going through an activation every time I buy a new game, This will detract more from sales than any piracy statistic.
Has there ever been a better reason to use OGG? I wonder if the RIAA even has OGG on their radar, to them it may be about as incriminating as a.doc file.
The installed userbase for the PS2 is several times that of the Xbox. Pronouncing victory is quite foolish as per customer, Microsoft is having much more success with Xbox Live than Sony is with their online facility.
Least supportive? I think its fair to say they have been the most supportive, willing to give it the most chance. They began experimenting with the frickin NES online, back in the 80s in Japan.
The company doesn't consider online will generate its worth, which is fair to say, The Xbox and Xbox Live obviously do not prove their worth.
I'd like to add that it was indeed an Ambulance that was fired on, and Ambulances tend to have a big ass Red Cross on them. Are you saying the Army fired on Red Cross?
I don't question the right of the RIAA to enforce their members' copyrights, I do however wish to see a little bit of headroom. There is no doubt in my mind the most sickening aspect of the RIAA is their gestapo-like operation; if your head hurts, decapitate yourself.
I am a great music lover and often purchase music that is 20-30 years old by popular artists at the time. I use P2P to try and find rare songs that some of these bands have recorded, but are nigh on impossible to purchase. What exactly is my crime? On that same token, more than half of the albums I own were influenced from hearing the bands' MP3 from Napster, Kazaa or Direct Connect.
Its certainly time the RIAA stop exploiting their racket, and start exploring other ways of content delivery, take a damn clue, 60 million (or whatever the figure was) Americans can't be wrong.
Nor would it do much good to be, Unless Telstra and MS sign a deal saying that all content from Xbox Live will be free, Xbox Live will probably peak at about 11 users.
Come on Homer, Come on Homer, pretend this is baseball and hit us a Homer!
I think that banner on the site should read "No, Spyware and Adware"

Seems to me like they can get away with showing greek code anyway.

The creator of Metroid is none other than Gunpei Yokoi, who left Nintendo in 1996.
He was killed in a car accident in 1997.
There's nothing you can really argue here, It's Microsoft's network, they can do what they want with it.
I encourage everyone to support the Jabber protocol, open and free for many clients to use, including the next revision of Trillian Pro.

I wonder if its possible for UIDs to get Slashdotted.

Any rewards for turning people in?

Surely even the lawmakers realize that this law is being exploited so that the rich get richer, the poor go out of business.
I'd have to say its about time, there really needs to be a stable network infrastructure implemented in Australia.

Where would the IT market be if MS had always had this attitude?
Where do I sign up?!
Its up to you whether or not you would like the Player or a free game:m l
