It has worked alright for me. Especially when I was overseas in Europe.

Nope. You could set 3 of the APs directly on each other and have no performance problems whatsoever. I have done it with Aironet gear, now Cisco. It's a good solution to getting more bandwidth to a room because different pc's can and will authenticate to different APs on different channels allowing for bandwidth sharing.
Further more you can do slick multilink ppp setups by building long links with multiple APs on each side with parabolic antennas which all connect to a router on either side balancing links with Multi PPP.
So you can easily get 33 megs out of a long >10 mile link out of this stuff.

The war on morality in the US does more harm by isolating children from the real world. If we really wanted to serve and protect our children we would invest in their schooling and their healthcare. We would probably also keep them from getting access to assault rifles to kill each other with at school.
It's time for the US and the other intolerant nations of the world to stop legislating morality through law. Different cultures have different moral codes and the government should have nothing to do with it whatsoever.

How about IP Masquerading, and all the other ip forwarding type stuff you can do modular on a linux box ?
How about running OSPF or BGP on your server itself ?
All of those things came on Linux/Unix long before dorks at Microsoft came up with them.

They could get rusty pickup trucks and mean dogs and have mandatory bar time and the Boars Nest(tm). Then they would be super nerds and they could develop linux and be a good peer group for other nerds.
This way we could smarten up our hicks and toughen up some nerds at the same time through interbreeding. Also, nerds would get laid.
