I wish them all the luck, as I clean about 500 pieces of drek a day from my mailboxes."
How do people manage to get this much spam? I'm on about 20 Mailing list and I give my e-mail t a lot of those sites that ask me to sign up. I get maybe 3 a day.
japanese pr0n games for nintendo? Did anyone really get off to these things? Has nintendo ever made any statements about these games? Do they make games like this for current consoles?
Has to be better than releasing it and having to listen to hordes of fans say, "yea, its aight, but aint' got no games". We have all seen lack of games or even lack of good games hurt gaming systems in the past. Want a nice protable gaming system, wait a few years when the price of palm-tops drop. I'll be playing Drug Wars in color baby! heh
fan of gnome who always stayed away from kde and then evanutally dropped gnome in favor of fluxbox. I have to admit, that I tried the 3.2 release an I'm hooked. I will still run flux on machines that just can't hand;e KDE's needs but KDE has come a *very* long way. My suggestion to others now is to run kde if their machines are fast and flux if it is slow (like my old p3 500).
Just when geeks were gettin away from pocket protectors and becoming socially aceptable. Now I'll never get laid. Nevermind, wasn't much chance of that anyway.
Regardless of what Mr. Bush had to say last night (State of the Union), the current job market is still all that bright for techies. I'd like to know, with the growing list of certs for linux which ones are worth it? Are the RH Certs worth it anymore/or maybe more now becase they dropped desktop solutions. Has anyone seen employers activley asking for these kinds of certs as many do with MCSEs, CCIEs, etc...?
Congress is concerned about how to pay for the new space policy
As main stream dems never advocate spending-just "Investing in Americas future", something tells me thats how this reather large nut will be shoved down Americas throat. Not that I don't support the space program, but is there anything G-duya won't throw money at?
I think I'll send him a letter askign him to buy this bridge that I have, its a regular cash cow, it already has a toll booth on it and everything.
the laywers, unless of course they win, in which case even Johny Cockran(?) will be kissing their collective asses. The tech folk won't haev to worry beyond the economic conditions that currently exist.
If the porduct is now retired then, and all new windows OSes are claimed to haev been built on NT source, then how long should it take before MS has no leg to stand on when defending the source to WIN98?
I don't think that WIN98SE enough code in it to make a team/teams of programers not be able to break it down.
Who is still using Yahoo? Its not for their serach engine and I've never cared for or used any of their other services. Can anyone give me just 1 good reason to use yahoo for anything.
From the article: Of course, there are no official comments on who is pulling the strings, but it seems clear that XGI is on solid financial ground.
And that is all I really wanted to hear. Thank goodness they won't be a fly-by-night company. This is a very welcome addition to the market. Lets also hope that they either make linux drivers or open the arch so developers can do so.
The great thing about new companies with financial legs to stand on is that they can learn from the mistakes of others without having to make them themselves as well as learn from the things done right by other companies.
I for one welcome our future (their mission statement is to be #1 by 2007) GPU overlords!
everyone now and then there would be a statement like the following:
DOBBERPUHL The power is dissipated mostly in the transistors, either as they switch or as they just sit there and leak.
You can calculate the dynamic power dissipation with the formula P = CV2f, where V is the power supply, C is the capacitance that is being switched, and f is the switching rate. There are some additional factors, but fundamentally the dynamic power is given by that formula.
...and now my head hurts from all that smart talk. I think its time for another SCO article to bring me back to reality (stupidity).
Criminals don't acquire anything using the same means as law abiding citizens and companies (i.e: Guns, drugs/perscription or otherwise/, and in this case hazourdous material. Although this could be used to stop hijacked trucks, it won't stop the guy with a *van* full of materials that was stolen.
Phone Loosers
So I don't display it, like I said before I do give my real e-mail addy to sites that have free reg, that *includes* /.

Would the answer: "What do you think dumbass!", cause me to *not* get the job?

Viva La SnearkerNet!
Think of it as an arms race. If others think they have the bomb, others won't launch theirs.

Note to self: "Drop acid like this guy did and watch the movie, it appears to be a great way to get more for my 10$ ticket (NY Prices)!!!!"
Now, further, let's say we can hijack that signal.
Personally, I'm hoping EVERYONE gets on of these. :)
Just really hot chicks. Of course I can't honestly say i've seen many hot handicapped women, I'm sure there are more than a few though.

You can't legislate away these kinds of problems.
