I agree, don't buy DRM. I was superpissed when I bought the new Dave Matthews Band album and I could put it on my iPod. You can copy WMA files and play them on your computer but that's lame. What if I want them in a WAV or other lossless format. Piss on them.
I'm no lawyer, but I play one on TV. My girlfriend is in Law School, and I've posed the question 'Can they enforce these EULA?' She seems to think that EULA would not always stand-up in court. A normal person can't reasonably be expected to read these multi-page legal disclaimers. If your product can harm people or their property putting warning on the package doesn't always get you off the hook, especially if the company knows ahead of time that the product can cause damages. These damages don't necessarily need to be physical harm to the property. They could violate your rights, privacy etc. Cigarettes have warnings and people have sued and won.
It would be a tough row to hoe. A little fodder to start your day.
I think a lot of people due care about gaming news. I guess if the posting doesn't piss off anyone or provide an opportunity to brag about one's knowledge then it doesn't make for much in the way of comments. Hey, we human's like to complain.
I personal couldn't care less about an article yesterday "Tunneling Shellcode with ActiveX". I guess its one of those things. If you don't like what you are watching change the channel. Laters.
I consider myself a casual gamer. I only play a couple of times a month but when I am looking for new stuff to play I usually read a lot of out of main stream articles and opinions. I like to hear what others have to say about a game but I usually don't make a purchase decision based off their opinion.
I love their laptops. But the hard drives they put in them are failing pieces of junk. They re-brand Hitachi drives as there own. They are better off not even calling them IBM drives. Since this is a Chinese company I'm sure they will follow suit and keep using shitty hard drives. If they would just use Seagate drives that cost $20-30 more they would save so much money not having to RMA all the dead drives. I probably replace 10-20 drives a year myself. I work on a team of 7 people in a company with about 300 IBM laptops. There is no way the savings in buying crappy drives increases your profit margin.
I would think that even a low wattage bulb would still be a major fire hazard. Don't get me wrong I think this is a good idea but I would try it without the bulb first. The Drives may provide enough heat for the computer to work well.
Just remember that George W. Bush reduced the outsourcing tax from 25% to 5%...
Not True. The problem has existed for sometime.

The incentive exists because the US taxes corporations at rates higher than most other countries. According to the Institute for International Economics, the effective rate for US corporations was just over 30% in 2002, while mainland China's effective corporate rate was only 11.3%, Britain's 18.2%, Mexico's 15.1% and Indonesia's a miniscule 0.2%.
How is this not funny? Everyone's got an opinion. While I don't agree it was the second funniest thing I seen or heard all day. Cheers to anyone brings a lite moment to my day.

If I could buy books cheaper in an electronic format I would have about a 1000 books by now. I'm addicted to books but I don't have the space for them. I have purchased e-books but I have not been too impressed with the readers. I wish you could read MS reader books in Adobe and Word just for general versatility.
That was the first thing I thought of. Where I work now there has been a good number of attractive women. They have all been Business Systems Analysts or Admin Assistants. They don't fall into the Computer Science category but who cares!
I hate that stadiums are now named after some corporation (Verison Wireless Stadium). I would be all about NASA putting advertising on the side of the Space Ship. I know it sound stupid but what the hell! Sorry I'm drunk and it WOULD be a good way to subsidize the cost of going back to the Moon and Mars.
I downloaded my first mp3s over a college LAN. If I remember correctly, I download three albums from a friends machine. Red Hot Chili Peppers, No Doubt, and Pink Floyd. We would rip CDs we owned and share them across the network. Aaah , 1998!
The point of having a static IP address is that there's nobody in the middle that you have to log onto.
So you memorize everyones ip address. That'll suck! I can't wait to start memorizing IPv6 addresses!!! Your solution creates more problems. I'm guessing you don't have any real experience with implementing VoIP.
yes i am bait of the flame variety. Sorry it was too funny not to say something. "...I must warn you that I am not that qualified as a female."
What a babe!

Good point. I totally agree that others use Hitachi drives. Damn it, why don't they use Seagate drives? :p

The cover is a horrible rip off of Rene Magritte's "La Grande Guerre" (The Great War)? The movie looks quiet shitty.

Who would want to steal a U2 album? Now I'd steal a Jessica Simpson or Nick Lachey. Maybe a Brittney album. Yah! Like totally.
