the only selling point for the PS3 is backwards compatibility, until the prices are sane I'm keeping my PS2, plan on getting Wii for Christmas

I just coded notmrmom.com and it took lots of tweaking for IE to make it look right after maing minor changes. I eventually got it fixed but since put a best viewed by firefox button in place!
spy b ot search and destroy and lavasoft adaware can remove many smalware programs. Digging into the registry is a bit over many people's heads but the softare programs I mentioned are free and easy to use. But you get what you pay for, they can't remove everything.

I would prefer DSL over cable but alas I cannot get either. Too far for DSL and even though I have access to digital cabel they don't offer cable internet. Wireless is not an option, trees int he way. And Satellite has limits on downloading (169MB in 8 hours!)
I'm stuck with 56K woe is me
I've played with them at work. They have nifty features like voice dictation and handwriting recognition but they are about 85% accurate. It can even partially understand cursive! Very cute lil things but not quite there yet.
I personally think that machines that are in the view of everyone should have porn filters. I eman it's pretty sad for people to get their kicks in the librarys anyways. That should be looked at in the privacy on someone's home.
Anyways having experience in working at schools and their libraries, some kids don't "intend" on going to porn sites but accidently do.
Anyone remember the whitehouse.com, nasa.com instead of.gov porn sites? Anyone get locked into looking at those sites because of the tricks the sites use to keep you there? Thos can be disturbing for a child to innocently stumble upon.
If libraries do leave the computers unfiltered they should at the very least not be in public view. Perhaps in one of those study rooms.
Just my 2 cents.
I'd switch back to Nvidia in a heartbeat!
http://i18n.counter.li.org/ wonder how long it will take to catch up and conquer. :)

Yes it is powerful but if I had a choice to jot down notes fo a long meeting I would choose pen and paper over the tablet PC.

DHTML works well with Internet Explorer. Other browsers have difficulty.
Maybe this will encourage users to invest in backup devices/pracices and get new hardrives every year. :P
Amen to that, I agree totally.
