I do agree with the title of the Book.
EJB, especially EJB 1.1 and EJB 2.0 are def. very HUGE specifications and as hard to learn as UNIX.
You have 1000's of choices which lead wayward programmers easily.
Contrast this with M$FT which provides a clear Roadmap and expands complexity slowly to grasp them easier.
EJB is like being pushed into the Q Continuum when you are a mere biped and not an omnipotent.
