What about my speeding ticket years ago when I was in high school, how does that pertain to me being pulled over for driving somewhere a cop thinks is suspicious? And if I'm pulled over for not coming to a complete stop, how is it important that I have 1 point on my license?
I hear this all the time and it reminds me of a little story from high school.
You see my friend and I on a friday night were driving past the school to get to our friends house, who lived down the street from the school. Well there was some kind of event going on at the school and they had a cop on duty who had the schools security guy with him.
Well he saw my friends truck drive by, and we got pulled over. The reason? Because the security guy knew that my friend had been suspended a few times and decided that we were probably doing something bad driving by the school at this late hour. It was real fun getting searched and harassed, and then after filling a complain against the cop, finding out what real harassment they can do.
So yes, I'm again this. Why does he need to know about the speeding ticket I got 4 years ago if he's pulling me over for a broken headlight?
For the record I'm against drivers licenses from holding any information that isn't absolutely required. This includes my full address and date of birth. For drinking purposes why not just put a over 21 stamp on there, a under 21 stamp works fine.
You might say the address needs to be on there, but lets see how it is when you lose your wallet/get it stolen and that person knows where you live. I've had my wallet stolen then got robbed, the person who was caught had my ID on him at the time, to see where I am coming from.
I can think of worse ways to die, very few that would be more desirable. That saying you have to die. Now give me about 30 more years of life and I might be willing;)

What about the future of all the families of the slain/wounded? You don't hear about the tens of thousands wounded/disfigured. Or how about Americans children are going to have to pay back the deficit that has been enlarged by this war.
We have serious problems at home, especially monetary, so we are going to throw money and lives to help others first?
I donate to charity when I can, but not before I have taken care of myself.
I did this with Xbox live. Well my xbox died and I figured when card expired they wouldn't continue charging. I was wrong and just got a bill for the months since my card expired.
Kinda funny thing happened to me. Right before I moved my Xbox with my second xbox live account blew up. My CC expired that month and I cancelled my phone service.
Well Microsoft will only let you cancel an account if you call them. At the time it was just a free account due to a game I bought, I guess you can cancel those before billing starts, no luck for me, xbox is gone.
Well I hadn't heard anything for a couple months and I recently got a letter saying they couldn't charge my credit card and I owe them something like $15. Well I wrote them an email explaining I didn't have a telephone and the time I do have access to one at work are outside their regular hours.
Their response was to please call them. I really hope it was just an automated response....

Wow, mine did the second scene of Hamlet. Just think if we got our cats togather...
When I bought my dell laptop awhile ago I had them put the extra memory in. It was something like $40 difference then buying it myself(added 512) at the time I didn't know how easy it was to add that. $40 is reasonable for the average user who doesnt know where to look or what to do with it. Now, over $400?
Still not as cheap as a regular PC? And still can't play my games on it.
Those have always been my complaints and still is. Although I'm kind of looking at that new shuffle, but I just don't see where I would use it much, I'll probably buy it anyway and sit it next to all my other junk:)

This is just my opinion, I can't understand how people see this game as the second coming, when It's really nothing new. I seriously don't think this game would have taken off if it wasn't made by Blizzard.

I have crappy eyesight. 1280x1024 is actually really good for me, any bigger and I have to squint to use my desktop. Hell 1024Xwhatever is actually fine for me.
Game looks kind of interesting. Reminds me of a game I used to play a lot back when I did a lot of drugs. Hope it works out well for you, I'll be sure to check out the demo when released.
What about someone who already owned the CD and wanted to download it because they didn't know how to rip it to mp3, to listen in their mp3 player? Hypothetical of course, but wouldn't they have some kind of recourse against the company, when I don't believe they were doing anything wrong?
I'd mod you up if I could. Agree 100%. I've downloaded tons of stuff I would never use. When companies like Aliashttp://www.alias.com/eng/index_flash.shtml provide a download for a type of preview/not full software of their popular Maya program it gives people lik eme a chance to use it. I heard Maya was cool, didn't know anything about it, but I was able to download it. Come to find out it just wasn't for me, but I would definately suggest that to anyone who asked me. Now, if I had downloaded an illegal copy if they didn't offer that, they would not have lost a single sale. I wish more companies would follow suite.
I have Time Warner, and I'm perfectly happy with the 3meg downstream, but you guys wanna raise our upstream a little?
Also kind of annoying having to restart cable modem every few days...
True they understand how the system works and all that, but shouldn't the laws be written so that the common man can understand them? Hell, look at some of these laws that are hundreds of pages long, if I want to read through it, how much can someone without a law degree understand? Granted I don't need to wear a helmet, but I'm not a lawyer...
I didn't care much for firefly the couple episodes I saw on TV then watched the DVD's and liked it quite a bit. Sad it got cancelled. Fox for some reason aired the episodes out of order?
I also had same problem with farscape, started watching some in like 3rd season and didn't care for it. When I watched it from start to end I loved it and was sad when that got canceled too.
