The shareholders of Oracle/Sun would lynch the executives for pulling out of the biggest market place in the world massively damaging their own business. Shareholders don't tend to approve of actions that will destroy the companies profits overnight

I agree, the only people who are really gonna give a damn about it now are us hardcore gamers who really know where to find this information anyway without some trade show.

The way they have done it has really knocked all the excitement out of the event, usualy when E3 comes around I warn all my flatmates that im gonna be downloading a shit load of stuff over the course of the week so the net connection is gonna be slow. Seen no real need to do so this year as it all seems a bit meh

"CS: Squad-based, limited time per match. Damage is realistic (relatively speaking) so teamwork, strategy (where to go, what your weapon's shot pattern is, etc), and good control are all vital to success. I suck at it, so I should know."

Action Quake 2 did this all before CS.

while i can understand things like the CELL architecture making his life more difficult i think its a bit stupid to slam the idea all together because processor architecture has to progress at some point and should be encouraged

i kinda disagree on companies not being able to support most of europe if they went to linux

while there would no dout be a period of lack of support you can bet that if that huge market opened up every company with even an ounce of linux knowledge would gear up to grab as much of that pie as they could

IBM would have a field day as they already have a large linux services business and others such as HP and Dell would join in if they had any sense

bugs have been fixed but its still a pretty buggy game though thankfully the expansion has helped performance quite significantly

the new content is pretty interesting with powerful guilds being able to dominate entire portions of the map and fight over resource mines is another fun recent addition

overall its a lot better than it was but still has the same overall problem in that its a brilliant idea but badly implimented but still worth it if you are a PvPer since there is simply no other MMORPG that can even compete with SBs PvP
