    No, the ACA was not vetted and tested before implementation. That's why it's so screwed up now.

    The deal with Romney-care was that it was a STATE program. It was never meant to scale up to be nationwide. That's the way this country is supposed to work. Let the ideas begin and get problems solved on a state level first so that you don't fuck up the whole country with a bad idea.

    Some people are just too impatient to wait for change the proper way.

    By the time the children are grown Europe will be Muslim (because they're out-breeding your native populations). In the same time span the US will be a Spanish-speaking third world country or a tightly controlled police state. It's a losing proposition either way.

    Best bet is to go find a small isolated island with no inhabitants and call it your home. It's a shame we don't have any space colonies to escape to yet.

    Hello there. Nice to meet you. We don't know each other, but I own a Galaxy S2.

    I don't automatically get a new phone every two years and I know quite a few people who own smart phones and are like me - use it until it's worthwhile to upgrade.

    The new S6 phones may very well be worth getting, though. :)

    Well, at least during the Summer. The temps in Alabama can easily reach 100, and can stay in the 90s for days at a time. Add the high humidity and the air feels like pea soup. You don't even have to move to sweat like a horse. Working outdoors means not a dry thread on you when you're finished.

    I'm an average user and I pay about $55/month for 60 megabits per second and no data cap. Not exactly turtle speed is it?

    That's the way it works in other businesses. They sell cheap cars and expensive cars, cheap burgers and expensive burgers, cheap houses and expensive houses. You get what you pay for most everywhere else, so why not have to pay more for higher speeds and more bandwidth?

    You must want super high speed internet for a few bucks a month. It ain't gonna happen. In fact, now it may be harder for you to get that bargain. Happy?

    He should focus on what made Amazon successful. Their prices are no longer as competitive as they used to be, and their shipping is getting slower and slower.

    I've been a Prime member for years, but I won't be renewing next month. I'm tired of 90% of my packages being shipped via USPS - the slowest, most unreliable bunch of idiots in the business. Hell, even shopping at Walmart online is better than Amazon now.

    Maybe Bezos has too much money and too much free time on his hands? Maybe he's into drugs now? He needs to get his head out of the clouds and his ass back to doing what he did to grow the company.

    You've been modded off topic, and I probably will be, too, for agreeing with your post.

    When I tried to read his list of lies, I gave up after the first sentence. I'm 62 years old and I don't see as well as I did back when I was Superman. A curse and a pox on web sites that use such low contrasting schemes. The article may have been interesting, but I'll never know what he intended to say because I simply can't read it without getting eyestrain and a massive headache.

    Even increasing the font size in my browser can't compensate for low contrast. Using "Select All" makes for text that is a bit easier to read, but grows tiresome after a while because all the images have been selected, too.

    Government is the perfect example of the Peter Principle in action -- and since it doesn't take any of them very long to reach their level of incompetence, we're stuck with them for years until they leave the job and are enjoying their lavish retirements.

    Cut government (bureaucrats) by 90% and you'll have a good start on fixing what's wrong with this country.
