    I haven't watched anything on ABC, CBS, FOX or NBC in over a decade. Just nothing worthwhile there.

    My problem is that the cable channels that used to be good are getting worse and worse. Pretty soon there won't be anything to watch at all.

    We cannot place our trust in the decisions of SCOTUS. I fear that even they have been compromised. Look at their rulings over the last few years. Even a casual observer can figure out that SCOTUS has been ignoring the Constitution.

    I'm all for it if it can keep my vehicle at a steady speed. The cruise control in my 2011 GMC pickup is terrible at keeping a steady speed - down to about 62 going uphill on the interstate and up to about 80 going downhill. I call it "Driver-assisted Cruise Control". It's almost totally useless.

    Note that my daughter's Toyota 4-Runner has excellent cruise control, even driving over the same interstates. Does Japan know something that Detroit doesn't?

    You can get youtube using the "What's On" channel, even with a first generation Roku, but ya gotta know somebody who knows somebody who knows the code to input. Works great and no need for developer mode.

    Bah! If you want the best coffee, you roast your own beans. I buy my green coffee beans from Sweet Maria's. Roasting takes only about 12 - 15 minutes, and you'll never go back to beans that somebody else roasted.

    And spend some $$ on a good burr grinder!

    The sad thing is that we have too many politicians in this country who see Kim Jong Un as a role model and the Korean system as the ideal form of government. Even more tragic is that too many of the lazy, ignorant American people would probably vote for such a tyrant thinking that they would be given anything they want from a strong centralized government.

    Because, while it may be just "statistical noise" now, what is it going to be when wind power accounts for half (or three quarters) of our electrical need? How many wind turbines do we have now compared to how many we need? How many eagle deaths are you willing to accept?

    I'd like to be able to buy an incandescent light bulb (great to keep water pipes from freezing in an unheated area); or buy a new toilet that uses more than a cup of water to flush; or buy the health insurance policy that I want; or maybe even tell a dirty joke at work without fear of being labeled a criminal; or plant a small veggie garden in the front yard; or fly any kind of flag I damned-well want to in my yard; etc.etc.etc.

    Yeah, it all seems like small stuff, but the noose is tightening every year. It will all be gone before you realize it's happening.
