This is the way BitTorrent works. You are constantly uploading data that you've downloaded to other peers, and so once it's done you should keep it open in order to share the file with others.
Just one person has to buy it for it to be distributed to the entire world. I always joked to friends that I was downloading "Linux warez ISOs", but now it seems that that'll really be the case.

Did anyone else get the ad for Shower Shock caffeinated soap on the Lycos front page? It leads to a link to a search for it, which then leads to ThinkGeek. Odd.
Yet another crippling bombshell hit the beleaguered HyperCard community when recently Apple confirmed that HyperCard will no longer be sold. Coming on the heels of six years with no updates in sight, this news serves to reinforce what we've known all along. HyperCard is collapsing in complete disarray, as further exemplified by not being used by anybody after about 1994.
You don't need to be Steve Jobs to predict HyperCard's future. The hand writing is on the wall: HyperCard faces a bleak future. In fact there won't be any future at all for HyperCard because HyperCard is dying. Things are looking very bad for HyperCard. As many of us are already aware, HyperCard continues to lose market share. Red ink flows like a river of blood.
Let's keep to the facts and look at the numbers. On Google Groups, the number of posts about HyperCard has steadily declined over the years:
glterm has the most horrible shareware reminder ever. It goes down in flames, making every app you have open unexpectedly quit. What a wonderful way to make people want to buy the program.
Haha. In the eighth grade I worked with the tech crew for our school's concert, and they stored 9v batteries that way, in a really long chain from + to - to +, with 20-30 batteries in a chain. They then got me to press my fingers down really hard on the terminals at the end of the chain. That was fun, all right.
How can you suggest that the internet as a whole can be either harmful or harmless? There's such a wide range of things that make the interent-porn, gaming, newsgroups, bulletin boards, research, trolling Slashdot, IMs, email etc. It's a tool, and as such comments can only be made on the relative safety of the activities done with it, not on the tool itself.
Take the hint, moderators. Look at this guy's comments.
Shut up.
So do I. It's called "Claria", so there's no reason to call it Gloria. :)
Way to completely not get the joke! Good job!

It's easy to create Word documents in Linux.
Have you ever heard of Fitt's Law? Perhaps you should read up on it.

Clearly, HyperCard is dead. You don't even have to look at the chart to see the pattern.
Fact: HyperCard is dead.
I love Slashdot. Only on this site would this comment be modded Informative.
I didn't expect Apple's MPEG4 implementation to win this test, but seriously, WTF is up? Does it really suck that much?
What the fuck was this image doing in that BBC article?

The page is Slashdotted - here's a Google cache..
Oh bullshit. Be honest, when was the last time you - or anyone else out there - downloaded something you legitimately owned?
No, never heard of him.

Who's Tina and what does her boob have to do with anything?
It'd be pretty funny to see this tool in a jacket with an apostrophe error.
What the hell does that have to do with anything?
This guy tried a penis enlargement pill and blogged about it. Take a look at his conclusion.
