    I could agree with you on point 3, but not 1 and 2. Quality is very much upon who encoded the divx, I'd say a 700mb xvid can be OK quality for the small size, but the 2*700mb then you really have good quality. And you can use what audio codec you want with divx, so that could also be AC3 or whatever..
    And you know you get DVD players with DivX/XviD support now?

    Im currently using firefox, its not too bad but i exprience it crashing much. What i really like about firefox is that it got extensions for everything, and they install easily and cross platform. I could still go for a alternative for firefox, i thought i was going to try this browser, but when icame there.. i saw that there was no.. linux version, heh ;)

    No? What about people borrowing my computer? One click away and a lot of spyware is installed. What about i forget to pull the networkconnection before i start a fresh windows installation. Etc. You dont have to be retarded to get spyware. To avoid them you need to regulary run windowsupdate and run scan with software like Ad-Aware.

    Nice to see someone actually written something about Slackware. Slackwares always been my favorite distro .. I used to be a control freak i guess, thats why i like it. Im thinking of changing now tho, prolly because im getting too lazy for all this slackin :)

    booting from usb dongle is the simplest thing ever. you just write the image to the dongle and it will boot fine!
