they are different styles of 1PS (its cooler than FPS) that focus on different things. at the end of the day geomod (or whatever the fuck it was called in that game i cant remember the name of) didnt add anything but novelty and then nothing to the game. how much do you think matress physics are going to bring to halflife 2 in a multiplayer firefight? not trying to pick on hl2 but just giving an example of things that sound good in theory but dont deliver in gameplay. talking about bad ai, on the hl2 video those dudes with the fricken froggers on their fricken heads just walk into a fricken spinning blade? im sure doom3 has lots of bad things too, like no giant mechanical spider machines that shoot some kind of pulse weapon which distorts space and time and looks really cool.
you cant change the future. thats why destroying the evidence in t2 doesnt work (i think such important work would be worked on in duplicate labs) and sending terminators back in time to kill john connor doesnt work either (skynet you are insane).
then again it could just be about the beer, i mean money.
because in the embedded markey most of portage is useless. maybe once in a blue moon you want to update your embedded softwares to new versions but you only want to click update on the little dohicky that says there is an update available that wont break your toaster.
isa is dead. im sure its quite safe now to remove the ONE isa slot or replace that useful CNR(?) slot some motherboards have (if they even have them still).
