If you have cyclic control, and enough forward speed, you could do it without collective pitch control, but its going to be a rough skid. But from the looks of this guys helicopter, he has little, if any, control over yaw, pitch, or roll.

I do not see a tail rotor, nor a swash plate. It looks as though the blades are at a fixed angle of attack, and pitch. The cyclic (joystick) might just be a stick with some bricks attached to change the center of gravity.

It did mention that it is stored at an airport now, so the pictures taken in the field may have been before it was completed.

I am just stating the obvious. The US Shows quite a bit of self restraint given the weapons we have. If someone is attacking you, and you have a pellet gun, and a grenade, but choose to use the pellet gun for fear of injuring the innocent with the grenade, but at the cost of possibly not killing your enemy, what would call that?

You can bet that everything we know about military technology is outdated, They will only show us the unclassified stuff. The F-22 is cool, but what is the LATEST aircraft we (USA) have? The F-117a made it's first flight in 1977, but only a handful of people knew of it's existence until it was declassified in 1988.

I was once a customer of an ISP that did Dialup over leased lines, so you could be connected all of the time ( well, most of the time). The line did not have dialtone, and was basicly an alarm circuit from your house, to the isp. Any DTMF would open the connection, but you had to set your modem to dial without dialtone. The line was ~$15/month plus $10 or whatever the ISP charged.
