With all the research I've done, it sounds like due to the color wheel (a very fast spinning wheel inside any dlp rptv), some people see a rainbow effect. It's confined to single chip solutions as far as I know. I have yet to go see for myself though.
And thus Japan leads the way in consumer electronics. It is difficult though, as I'm looking for a HDTV. It's hard enough trying to figure out what's better, DLP/LCD/CRT RPTV. Then I want DVI, but not Drm enabled dvi. But if I do that, will they end up down sampling my picture? arg, leaning towards DLP though...
I think right now an easier solution would be to just get a hdtv card in a htpc and use that to record shows.
"Also, as noted in your letter, there is no content "license" at issue because RIAA members have no licensable right that could be a basis for imposing limitations on free broadcasts."
Looks like this may be a lot harder for the RIAA than mp3 issues to me.
With all of the huge vehicles so common today, that thing is simply unsafe in the worst possible way.
I guess I tend to lean more toward having a larger vehicle these days because I know someone who a year ago would be dead if they were not driving the large pickup truck they were in...when someone hit them head on at 65mph. Luckily they only nearly died, and can barely walk today.
As long as all of the large vehicles are still popular, a tiny thing like that simply would not sell.
It's sad thing that it's not legal to broadcast on frequencies reserved for emergency vehicles, I mean talk about unneccesary goverment regulation!

Whoever wrote this needs to get a clue! If everyone was allowed to broadcast on whatever whenever wherever they want, there'd be chaos. It seems the author has a utopian outlook about this, which just won't ever happen.
Would it be possible to build a giant one, say 100 square feet, and focus it into a fiber optic type of cable, essentially using it for a cutting laser?
Or what if you had a few massive ones in space, could you focus enough energy for use in a fusion reactor? You'd amplify all of that free energy and I don't really know what I'm talking about. Perhaps you could attach it to a shark's head.
It doesn't look like anyone has mentioned it yet, but you can freeze a dead HD and in some cases you will be able to boot it up like normal with enough time to get critical files.
Just remember to put it in a sealed plastic bag. Many many people have said it worked, although I've never had to do it myself.
"There are certain advantages to caffeine but, after 300 milligrams [daily intake], you start getting into health problems," Dr. Marcone said."
Ok so 300 is the upper limit. But...
Health Canada recommends that adults limit their consumption of caffeine to 400 mg daily -- the equivalent of about four small cups of coffee.
So Canadians think it's ok to drink 33% more than is healthy? And yet, they try not to call it caffine addiction. Interesting.

What's so interesting to me is how powerful DNA is. We carry the most powerful computer on earth on our shoulders, all programmed with DNA.
The greater understanding we gain about genetic engineering, the more amazing things we can do. Eventually being experianced enough to create something more powerful than our own brain. We do in fact operate on a quaternary system, more efficiant than binary.
Just a thought, I bet if all of our bills for everything we buy were entirely itemized, we'd be quite outraged about these things a lot more often.
Simple example: What if Starbucks showed the actual cost of making that cup of coffee on the bill seperate from the markup at the register? People already know they're very expensive, but if they "really" saw it things would be different.
Now there is a lot of information you can get if you do some research into the company financial reports, but your average person is not going to do that.
After reading this, I think we'll be seeing at least one movie, and a mini-series on Fox:
Not only has the magnetic north pole wandered by 1100 kilometres in the past 200 years, but its strength is dropping at a rate of 5 per cent a century.
"This is the fastest decrease since the last reversal 730,000 years ago," Lesch says
I do find it interesting, I wonder if it could happen in the next 300 years or so?
I think I would favor someone who majored in something like computer science and creative writing to be better. Then you would have someone that might have some understanding of how things can be done first of all. And also have experiance in doing things in creative writing.
I guess what I'm getting at is those are established fields offered in most universities, game design is not. However things in those fields are applicable to game design.
And on another note, last night I was in a live internet radio discussion with a creative designer in an upcomming mmo (couple years off still). And as much as I like fantasy settings, it seems like that's just overdone these days. And yet there is yet another game with elves and dragons etc etc.
I just wanted to say it. Please just make a nice phone, just a phone! I want it to be very clear, great reception, and awsome battery life! I DO NOT want a damn camera/dog bark translator! I do not want flashy lights and annoying ringtones!
It's not complicated, really. Someone needs to do for cell phones what Apple did for MP3 players!
- Locations such as: End of Time, Crono's House, Guardia Forest, Zenan Bridge, etc.
- Rearranged music
I hope the lavos battle is in there, and maybe the T-rex too.
But also, will this just be kind of a "tour" or will you have your own character with skills and equipment too?
Since they're giving the hardware away with a 2 year subscription anyway, why not just sell the service to anyone with a PC that meets the hardware specs?
Ok well I know "why", it'll just be effortlessly easy to have all the games you want I guess, instead of the stupidly easy it will probably be with the console...wait...what's easier, effortless or stupidly easy?
Er anyway, I don't quite understand how they can legally distribute all the new games they want to the subscribers? Especially a game that requires a unique cd-key to play on some servers.
And even if they can, how did they convince the publishers that it can't be hacked in 10.3 seconds?
The main problem here is just user interface. It needs to be very durable, and easy to use. Probably some kind of large durable play button, possibly something you'd find off of industrial machinery. That kind of stuff is made to last.
Ok so if I understand the concept correctly: If I have a phone with this ability, it can bring up a web page via wireless connection. Maybe some info about the item, or an advertisement.Great...
What's wrong with just posting information on packages, as it is now? And why should I waste my money, to use my phone to view an extra useless ad?
And unless this all works together "very" quickly (not more than 10 seconds), nobody will even bother. I know I certainly won't.
Can anyone think of anything this can be used for, which can not be accomplished by simply posting the information on a sign, packaging, or normal paper ad? (which are free to use, unlike the phone)
Well, you know it sounds like you'd probably want to divide everything up into experianced user (power user) vs inexperianced.
I mean, some people just want to set up a basic web/mail/ftp server, while others want corperate level stuff.
So while Distro X is best for a web server, it may not be the best for the beginner. In that case Distro M (no not Y, that's best for a firewall), is better.
There are many great distros out there. I think the best way to do a review is first decide what exactly you need to do?
You would need to do seperate reviews, such as one for best distro to be used as a web server, or best distro to be used on the desktop in place of windows.
Otherwise you'll just get a bunch of people screaming at you:)

Sharks with...giant Frensel Lenses attached to their heads!

Well my point is, once people really see how much they are getting ripped off for, I bet their choices of what they buy would change.

Thanks for the info. Definitly something I need to do.
So what's the best modchip for the job then? This would be a fun project to do when I have the time.
