SSH -X make RDP, PCAnywhere and all that look like the garbage it is.
WHAT?? Xforwarding is AT LEAST 1/4th the speed of RDP in 2000. Don't get me wrong, I love linux and it's all I use, but RDP is unbeatable in speed. Nothing i've used comes anywhere near close. RDP is VERY usable on even a single channel ISDN line.

This is a bit off topic. I have a Sony Ericsson T610. I'm trying to figure out some sort of functionality out of linux. No applications, anything.
Everything I find is sort of patchy and half working. In fact, that really goes for Windows too. It seems MacOS is the only platform that really has fully functional bluetooth capabilities.
I agree 100%. I wish there was a way to turn off Autocopy. I haven't found one yet. It's a pretty annoying feature.
Luckily Control-C and Control-V work.
Another annoying thing: If you do a Control C (in Xfree) to copy, then close the application you copied out of it erases it from the 'clipboard'. That's annoying.
So, because some other business (movie industry) wants to make cash off a bad product-- they disable text messaging for an entire night? You cannot be serious?
What about how I use text messaging to get alerts from Nagios? Should my ability to easily keep an eye on my company's network suffer because another company wants everyone to fall for their marketing ploy?
Is there any easy way to find out if a band or a label is part of the RIAA? I'd like to start boycotting RIAA labels/bands/albums. If anyone knows a site, or somethign to look for on the cd/record please let me know.
Thanks!
Can anyone recommend a good RSS reader?
I'd prefer webbased so I can just host it on my box w/apache and read my news from anywhere.
Any tips?
Thanks!

No you don't have to do that. I've called for these patches plenty of times. Most of the time you don't even have to get past the person who answers the phone. They can email you instructions to get it instantly.
That's not true. Just yesterday I placed an order on buy.com and it wouldn't allow the order to go through. Turns out that number on my CC was faded and I misread it. As soon as I put in the right number, BAM it went through.

Wing commander was fantastic. One of the best games of its time.
There need to be more space flight sims, w/multiplayer capabilites.
Works fine on Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.6a) Gecko/20031019 Firebird/0.7+. ;)

Hell, I'd rather not use the USB if I can get ethernet. Now if only it supported 802.11b ;)
Does it run under linux?
This is the AIM of Cisco's CSA. Check it out, it does everything you've asked and more.
There is a removal utility? I'd like to publish this via group policy in AD. Can you provide a link?
3200+ XPs can SMP?
Do either of the Athlon 64 series support more than one processor? Or do I have to look towards the opteron for that?

It's too bad Xinerama doesn't work with my Radeon 9700. :(

My Personal Opinions (Apps I can think of):
Mozilla Thunderbird: Email client that's still in Alpha but has never given me one problem.
Mozilla Firebird: Greatest web browser around today. Here are some reasons why.
Krusader/Windows Commander: Great file managers. Windows Commander is (obviously) the windows original and Krusader is the KDE based *nix one.
Open Office: You already mentioned this one
GAIM: Best IM client avaliable (I know this isn't exactly productivity software).
AVG Anti-Virus : Free non-commerical use anti-virus.
PuTTY: Telnet/SSH/Rlogin, everything you need for remote access.
XMMS/Winamp: Media Players
I am still looking for good financial software. Microsoft Money is the best I've found so far.

I gather I will have to go get a new damn DVD burner for this. Too bad Sony can't just make a firmware update to support it.
Maybe he should call the Windows box "stupid fat hobbit".
Somehow, I wouldn't be surprised if this is serious...

I hope I misunderstood your post.

I believe the Athlon Fab plant is in germany, the Duron is in Austin. cuban

No. That should be Lord of the Rings, it's thrice the movie Matrix is...
