TrueCrypt can do this with encrypted volumes. You can have it create a hidden volume within another encrypted volume, but using a different password. You can store all your porn in the hidden volume, and all your incriminating stuff in the main volume. When forced to give up your password, give up the password to the hidden volume and they just get a load of porn. Because of the way TrueCrypt is built, it's impossible to tell that there is another volume present, or that the password given is the password to the hidden volume and not the main volume.
I'd almost be tempted to buy a MacBook Pro if this works without any issues. It'd be nice to boot into Windows for my day job and OSX for home usage. The only thing really stopping me is the lack of a right-click button under the trackpad. I'm sure somebody can/has come up with a software hack to use two fingers to right-click, but I don't know how annoying that would actually be without using it.
This video was on digg yesterday supposedly showing Intel's version of a UMPC, with a hidden qwerty keyboard. I like the design, but I don't see anything like it listed under the Products link.
seriously...it's a freaking cookie. it's not like doubleclick where hundreds of thousands of websites have an iframe that is capable of reading your cookie and tracking your browsing habits. even if they decide to track it across all government owned websites, it's nothing they couldn't already do with simple logfile analysis.
i'm sure if the NSA wanted to track your every move 1) They already are 2) You don't know it and 3) There isn't anything you can do about it.

Once you begin working, that is when your true worth becomes apparent.
i couldn't agree more

it's a scoring system that tracks digg and slashdot. +3 for first post, +1 for ties (within 50 min, | -1 ripping off the title & url.
best....website.....ever.
Wacom tablets do this. I recently bought my girlfriend a Wacom Graphire3 which includes a wireless mouse to use on the pad - no batteries required.
Linus Torvalds, ESR, and RMS were all appointed as heads of the Window's product group.
so, what you are really saying is by sitting here on Slashdot i have a better chance of scoring with Steve Carell?
i'd switch without a doubt. however, i wonder if this would severely hurt apple's hardware sales.
you also can't short on a downtick, buttplug. so after it plunges for 6 months and finally gets an uptick, then short the stock. ;)
short sell!
a guy and his newlywed wife are on their honeymoon, getting ready to have sex for the first time.
before getting any further, the guy warns his wife: "i just want to let you know, i'm like a baby down there."
the wife responds: "it's okay. i love you no matter what."
the man then takes off his clothes and the wife falls off the bed and exclaims: "i thought you said you were like a baby down there!"
he responds: "i am. it's 12" long and weighs 9 pounds."
...that gathers dossiers on every single man, woman and child and didn't bother to tell anyone.
good thing i'm not single.
that's bound to make more than a few people sterile.
well it appears on their website that they offer the source for download here
i guess Unisys considers LZW an anti-terrorism compression algorithm....
For those that enjoy programming and get paid good money to do it, i'd definitely think it would be worth doing in the long run.
Now I can't say the same for technical support. If you enjoy it and get paid good money to do it, then you are probably just sick in the head.
1024 xeon's? jeeze, my electric is $120/mo with one amd and one intel running half the time.
