Here's the problem: No one wanted their satellites back. By the time their fuel was spent, they were old technology that would be replaced by a new satellite.

But isnt it funny that presidents always set these goals for well after their terms? By 2015 Bush will be out of the Oval Office, with a best selling book, and he can blame america's not getting back to the moon on our next PHB commander in chief.

i'd wager that failed hard discs are more common than fires, floods and leaks. i've had several ibm deathstars drop on me.
never had a fire or flood in my house, though.
