Here's the problem: No one wanted their satellites back. By the time their fuel was spent, they were old technology that would be replaced by a new satellite.
What is it about this comment that make me think of commercials for eBay?

For a lawnmower blade to cut your grass or a satellite that's out of gas, use eBay! Use eBay! For a Beagle that has missed his mark or a spark plug wire that wouldn't spark - Use eBay!::/cue music::

maybe i installed under c:\windows instead of c:\winnt - but i was pretty sure i went default. did you upgrade from win2k? i went w/ a fresh xp pro install.

three out of ten adults have never used the internet.
"Yeah, that whole internet thing... i mean, i've heard about it, but don't really know what it's all about. something about some dots and coms. the whole thing just seems too confusing to me!" Annie Jenkins, domestic engineer, 37 y.o. - part of the other 31%.
"The actor who played Chewbacca in the original Star Wars trilogy, Peter Mayhew, will be in Episode III. Of course, this has been previously reported and comes as no surprise. However, TheForce is reporting that Mayhew's contract contains a stipulation that he must also appear in Episodes 7, 8, and 9.
Why bother with him then? If ever a character could be played by someone else it would be Chewbacca! No recognizable voice, or face, or anything. Just a 6'6" guy in a wookie costume with sound effects added in after the fact. I don't mean to be rude to Mr. Mayhew, but what leveridge does he have?
But isnt it funny that presidents always set these goals for well after their terms? By 2015 Bush will be out of the Oval Office, with a best selling book, and he can blame america's not getting back to the moon on our next PHB commander in chief.
so... what the conversion rate pounds to u.s. dollars?
The Moon: The New Australia
'The researchers still are working on building a helium-3 reactor that would produce more energy than it takes in.'
Great. So we've got our power problem on the moon solved for a bit. What about getting that power back to earth. Oh yeah. nevermind.
Let solve our problems here before we go solving problems elsewhere, folks.
It's like filing suit against a phone number for a bomb threat.
I passed exam 640-801 in one try, with no real networking experience and having taken no classes.
And we're worried about tech jobs being sent to India...
For my money my favorite is still the Neuros
Logitech or Microsoft?
Oh. Those mice. Nevermind.
Kevin Smith - Chasing Amy - Hadn't seen it in while and had forgotten what exactly that was from.
Thanks

Dan is the man. but the correct path for the hosts file in Windows Xp is as follows:
C:\WINDOWS\system32\drivers\etc
DoubleClick says that it is 'developing technology that will enable pop-up ads to evade the blocking software.'
And on a completely unrelated note, DoubleClick's stock price dropped today, an astounding 53%.
It's sad, because they just don't get it (tm).

I'd pay more for a static IP.
Coupe or Sedan?!?
Wagon or Compact?!?
PLEASE be more precise.
i'd wager that failed hard discs are more common than fires, floods and leaks. i've had several ibm deathstars drop on me.
never had a fire or flood in my house, though.
i just hope that the hard disk in this product is better than the one it's supposed to back up.
My point? Average Joe Luddite won't care until he arrives at home with the incorrect media and gets pissed off.
Or has the right media, but it won't play on his set top dvd player.
Ok. Those batteries you have there are unsafe. They could catch on fire or even explode!
Fear not, I have the solution.
Buy my safe batteries, free of pesky thermal runaway, free of fire, and annoying explosions.
Just some folks will have one less title on their business cards.
Move along folks, nothing to see here.
