  1. Disappointed they didn't mention SNES on Fixing That Old Game System · · Score: 1

When I read the title, I was interested because I wanted to fix up my old snes which has just been absorbing dust in my room for the past couple years. I was disappointed that they didn't talk about it in the article, but could someone show me a good site to which I could refer. I'd be very pleased.....

The mayor (Anthony Williams) here in D.C has been seriously proposing the construction of a baseball stadium to attract the expos. This stadium is expected to cost between 180 and 400 million dollars. Meanwhile, our schools are firing 500 teachers because we lack the money. Funny priorities, wouldn't you agree?

  5. latin on The Memory Masters · · Score: 1

At an old school, I had a crazy latin teacher who would give me a quiz every day and a test every week. Because We got assigned so much work seperate to the daily quizzes I would just pick up the things we had to know and try to memorize 15-20 things. After awhile I could ace the quizzes. Quite useful in other classes too....

  9. Consumers on Microsoft Prepares Alternative To Apple iTunes · · Score: 2, Interesting

The big question is, which way will the consumers go, Microsoft, where it is cheaper, but your music goes *poof* when you don't pay or apple, where you pay more but get to keep. Obviously there is gonna be some app that will come out that will change the codec so you will be having that music for keeps. Does this mean that apple will lose out? Also how would microsoft react to the app? And what is Emusic doing to respond to both of these contenders?

  10. Pricing wifi? on Verizon To Offer WiFi At Pay Phones · · Score: 2, Interesting

Imagine having spyware programs causing offers for viagra and porn sites to coming flying across the screen and tons of stuff bouncing around. It would annoy me beyond belief. Just to recap Spyware and 3d accelerated desktops just don't mix.

Man, back in like 1996 or seven a neighbor (and friend of my brother's) gave us Bad Day on the Midway (made by The Residents), he said his aunt gave it to him. He didn't want it at all because it creeped him out so much. So I fired it up and played. I still have memories to this day that game is so creepy. Between the "kill a commie shooting gallery" and one of the endings that was more or less "you were killed by the psychotic killer" it was way to much and me and my brother trashed the cd.

whole of Europe would become much cooler. This would be because their warm fronts would be disrupted.
