    True, but we're talking about a matter/energy conversion here. The mass of the reactants is reduced by the fusion process, and that "lost" mass is converted to energy at the rate of Einstein's famous equation: E=mc^2 Where E is energy produced, m is mass "consumed" and c is the speed of light.

    No no no. That equation is for PARTICLE AT REST. Fusion has use for MOVING particle of hydrogens together.

    I totally deplore this statement... it reeks of macho sexism especially that the poster states that the price is a mistake... what are you saying about female tech geeks... you're implicitly, though obviously, suggesting they're idiots! idiots en masse... no wonder that this male geek crowd has a reputation of being unattractive to females, especially with such attitude!

    Do not tell me about geek this and that. Women are not interested in only pink and such ipod materials. If a geek is geek, I call him geek. If girl is geek, then she too is one.

    If bad worker ruins the day, I chastize him and chew him out. If he or she performs with diligence, then they are rewarded with recognition and job well done.

    iPod? Same logic. No color scheme or marketing ploy will change how women work.

    You should be PROUD of your work. Does not matter if you are stern mother like stone-face. Accomplishment and achieve to impress, your boss becomes happy with you, you get invited out more, etc, etc.

    Same should be for women, except they care more about family and the children.

    I HATE the job I must do, working with undergrads and fools who talk about hobbies. But here I am happy for some recognition and publishing results... this laboratory is truly my home-away-from-home.

    This has been going on in Israel for decades. As a result, Isreal has produced some of the best computer programmer's in the world.

    Same in China too. Creation of strong and glorious brotherhood came about, and now all people live equally according to skills. There are grave problems here and there, but all things being equal is a better way to manage.

    Don't get me wrong, the US should NOT become like China. Strong states is very good, but free and strong states is one million times as good as the lame Chinese system.

    I still have almost no friends, and family relationships carry no weight for me, but I know why now. Knowing why has made my life much more livable.

    Do not say so much. Dont say you have no friends. You may not like Slashdot as much as Britney Spears or stupid Playboy bunny girlfriend, but you always make a home for your-self here.

    Remember when first battle, approximate 4 or 5 people only in U.S.A. State Department spoke language of Vietnam people. See the difference now- you have Navy people speaking many dialects with great accuracy (paid translators on board from Iraq and Middle East). Imagine that technology used to say something like "Hey we are evacuating now in 1963" instaed of 10-year war that lasted so long.
