There is an organization somewhere whose only purpose is to name as much stuff after Ronald Antichrist Reagan.
We have a highway that used to be named "Cross County Highway" that is now the "Ronald Reagan Highway." (Cincinnati)
It's named appropriately because they waited for years to fix the bloody thing, and it ends right before it hits the rich neighborhood. Don't wanna break them zonin' laws there!!
I have Win4Lin, but have found the company's web site and tech support to be kind of lacking. I had a problem with Win4Lin not seeing a second interface card. They tried to at least fix it. I found the problem myself after two days of looking for the proper config file. The location for the config file is a holdover from Win4lin's old "SCO Merge" days.
The product is useful and fast, though, when it works right.
I am thoroughly disgusted at their behavior, and have to hold my nose while working on SCO clients.
I've already moved several over to other platforms.
There are only a few holdouts left, as most have thrown their arms in the air in disgust and have moved on to a better platform, but some others have moved to Microsoft.
It ain't the white collar workers who are screwing the working class, because white collar workers ARE the working class. It's the C[ETIF]Os and accountants that are doing the screwing.
...the Egyptian censorship board is extremely stupid. If they think a movie is going to cause unrest, then their society already has deep problems that need addressing. If a movie causes a personal crisis, then the viewer already has issues. If they're that bigoted, let them miss out. Frell 'em.
I have had a Sony Clié PEG-T615C for several months now and I'm thrilled with it. The other day I was looking at the brand spanking new Cliés at the store and these things are packed with features, and are still cheaper than the Palms.
"I'm trying to take care of the shareholders, employees and people who have been having their rights trampled on."
The only ones who have had their rights trampled on are SCO's clients, who have bought one of their systems, only to have SCO fall behind the rest of the world.
SCO lost their rights after they stopped viewing their clients as customers and started viewing them as an entitlement.
I've seen companies switch their viewpoint from one to the other and have seen every one of those that did lose customers right and left.
If I bought that aircraft carrier, then flew in on it dressed in a flight suit with the crotch all puffed up, people might be tricked into thinking -I- was a hero too?
I have signed and been frelled by a non-compete agreement. I honored it, but NEVER AGAIN. I will NEVER SIGN another non-compete agreement, ever.
Folks, do yourselves a favor, Negotiate the Hell out of your non-compete. Do NOT accept it as it is offered to you. Make them go back and forth a few times to pear out things. e.g. instead of general non-compete, make them name customers. Also make it so that they have to supply you a list of clients you cannot service upon your termination. Make sure to try to make them make it as specific as possible (e.g. the less "general" the better) or better yet, pass it up and let the next sucker sign it. I know, it's hard in this George Bush II burger flip economy.

I'm a liberal, but damn, THAT was pretty damn funny!
Hormel should go out and sue as many spammers as they can (SCO style) for ruining their trademark. This is one lawsuit I would support!
Fujitsu used to make these GREAT keyboards with real switches in 'em. They had this incredible clicky feel to them and I could fly on 'em.
*sigh* those were the good ole days.
I don't even bother anymore. There's nothing on CD that I even WANT. I'm an old fart now, and don't much care for their content anymore.
I also don't much care for CNN / MSNBC / Faux News, so I don't watch them anymore either. I've also quit watching clear channel stations.
The news, and musical artists, are both manufactured now, nothing's real anymore.
If everyone else is driving 80 and you drive the speed limit, you could be ticketed for impeding traffic flow.

This is correct. A patent is nothing more than the right to sue.
However, if anyone on the kernel side is to do the patent check, it is the individual coder who should do it BEFORE sending it to Linus.
someone mod parent up!
but the market will see to it that this does not succeed.
Ok, poll. Hands up, all of you who willing buy self-destructing media?
I also hold two SCO ACEs amd two SCO Master ACEs.

Dude, if I had mod points I'd mod you down.

The robotic pointy boot to step on it.

...if I absolutely, positively, have to have what I need and can't find it elsewhere.
Otherwise I'm supporting abuse of children, abuse of elderly people, and the demise of small business.
Unfortunately, the trailer park masses all love Wal-Mart and don't see it for what it is.

There is a neat brand of DVR from "Roll Your Own, Inc." that does exactly what you want!
I have had a Sony Clié PEG-T615C for several months now and I'm thrilled with it. The other day I was looking at the brand spanking new Cliés at the store and these things are packed with features, and are still cheaper than the Palms.
Had you not posted as AC and had I had points you would have earned one.
Hear hear! IceWM is the one I keep going back to!
Gnome and KDE are pretty, but damn, when it comes to being hackable, being fast and easy to configure, IceWM beats the pants off all of them!

Thought not.
Just send them here.

Trinity was driving a caddy. There were some oldsmobiles in it, though. GM "donated" some 800ish cars to the movie.
Damn! I don't know how the Hell this got modded up to 5, but it was actually (sort of) flamebait. HAHAHAAHAHA!
24 is the thing to catch!
