    maybe mass suicide is not that bad of an alternative connsidering how bleak your outlook on that type of future is. to me though it sounds like a bad scifi film like Badlands or any number of other films. how come the future is never a pleasent

    some word processors could be hooked to modems if my memory serves me correctly.you could try hooking it to an old word processor monitor if you can find one, which should not be too hard almost all the ones I have seen used a standard db-9 connector I once found an IBM PS/2 based wordprocessor that could be converted to a standard PS/2 with a minor upgrade, now there was an interesting piece of hardware had a CGA monitor

    actualy it was probably to hook up to a display monitor, I have seen hundreds of these types of word processors. though i could very well be wrong

    I got a 1.3 mp cmos based aiptek and a samsung 2.1 megapixel ccd based camera the cmos aiptek takes a picture that looks warmer and more vibrant than the samsung and I only paid 24 dollars for it the only thing is it does not come with a flash like the samsung though even that is about useless the damn samsung does not even have a IR filter. I will say this though If you know how to adjust the various settings on a cheap digi cam you can get a picture to come out a lot better

    Infact in H.S chem class we would commonly increase the pressure in plastic coke bottles all the way up to 120 psi using a air pump and they always held just fine

    well I'll tell ya I've been in A Union for Five years and though it does have a few benefits it is also one of the most easily corruptible organizational structure ever to grace this earth, I have seen everything from Union cowing to the company, to the Union ignoring the needs of the employees so that it can provide a favor to the company, on top of that I pay 7.50 a week in dues so the Union can rent a Hall discuss business for ten or so minutes then eat and drink the rest of my money away,how would you feel about it if you were paying dues and found out it was being used so union officials could get liquored up, then those same officials come in to the work place and greet you with words like "How the Fuck are you doing?"I kid you not. Not to mention the bribery. No if the Technoogy sectors organize it will be more in the classic guild sense then a modern union

    their is no directx on mac that I know Of unlike the Xbox so everything would have to be ported to opengl etc.

    when macosx first hit the shelves I remember saying to someone that it'd be easier for a pc user to switch to using it than a classic macos user because they are so deeply devoted. people on pcs tend to expect change

    actually at the college I attend one of the Instructors installed xp on 90 mhz pentium with 64 megs of ram it was funny to see the installer's time estimate of 14 hours on a system that only took about 90 minutes to install win2k on an that ran well. xp took an hour to boot, scrolling through the start menu took minutes, opening windows tens of minutes. surprising that it installed in the first place but even more surprising was that it was stable on such outmoded hardware
