I noticed a Sony one. But i'm not sure if the "mp3" ability is real or if you have to convert it from mp3 to atrac3. i can't remember the name or number of the player either
I think a major advantage the Mandrake livdCD has is the ability for the usb storage. You could put whatever tools you need on it, and modify it to your hearts desire.
I dont care too much about it being accoustically sound, I use FLAC (and shn) because they are the dominant formats used for concert bootlegs. I know i could convert them to a more readily compatible format like mp3, but why not have a player that will accept it as is?
Maybe if MS Word formats were compatible with each other you may have a valid point.
Changing printers will wreak havok on the document you just typed. Hows that for reliable?
If you ever need something to look perfect no matter where it is, just use Acrobat, or a standard publishing program.
But you've already agreed to it by letting the Auto Update run as it wants. It'll probably say in the EULA that M$ can change it whenever they feel like it withouth checking with you. And because you've let it, you agreed to it.
Just because you can't find em for $250 doesn't mean they're worth more than $250.
I know M$ Windows sells for somewhere in the neightborhood of $150 but to me it's not worth that much, but they still charge $150
It's almost what the White House did for it's webpage, but iirc it was pointed to an IP address instead of name, so they just switched it to a different server, problem solved. Tho it wasn't the White House's fault.
Another reason they dont use windows is they can't mold it to their specific needs like they can do with *Nix. I'm also lead to believe that royalties (or whatever they should be called) would be less expensive using *Nix than windows.
Dr Pepper is owned by Schweppes (last i knew) or listed as Dr Pepper/ 7UP, and typically bottled by Pepsi, tho i have seen a few cans done elsewhere.
Not as a Driver-Less solution, but does include RioTaxi which you need to install on all systems you want to use

Actually I believe it should read: OS, like Windows CE,

It's not that i could be turned off or removed once you get the product. It's the fact it's there to begin with.
I remember seeing ads for em, do you know what they are called?
Rio's Karma, like memtioned above, might also be a worthwile product. Offering both USB2.0 and Ethernet, it will also support FLAC and Ogg.

Sometimes doing the right thing isn't doing the right thing.
Or more generally speaking: 1. We dont need to hire a professional, I saw this done on TLC or the Discovery Channel once. If I put this here......
So isn't the American spellings a correction of the mispelled European variants?

I'm still waiting for Adobe and macromedia to port to Linux so i can drop Windows as well.
Almost off topic, i'm not sure if windows passes my Grandmother's test.
Does booting from a Knoppix CD count as installing?
It could also be said that Akamai's *Nix boxes are better than M$'s "Windoze" boxes, and M$ is admitting it by switching to *Nix
Or even for developing countries like parts of Africa and Eastern Europe where towers would be too expensive and take too much time to construct.
For the number of expensive toys they have, i'm suprised these dont cost near $200K
I always thought they did less with more money? Maybe i was just mistaken.
Dont Virii have a predisposition for self preservation? And how there is using a laptop powered on their own blood instead of batteries? muahaha
