Dr Pepper is owned by Schweppes (last i knew) or listed as Dr Pepper/ 7UP, and typically bottled by Pepsi, tho i have seen a few cans done elsewhere.

I dont care too much about it being accoustically sound, I use FLAC (and shn) because they are the dominant formats used for concert bootlegs. I know i could convert them to a more readily compatible format like mp3, but why not have a player that will accept it as is?

Maybe if MS Word formats were compatible with each other you may have a valid point. Changing printers will wreak havok on the document you just typed. Hows that for reliable? If you ever need something to look perfect no matter where it is, just use Acrobat, or a standard publishing program.

But you've already agreed to it by letting the Auto Update run as it wants. It'll probably say in the EULA that M$ can change it whenever they feel like it withouth checking with you. And because you've let it, you agreed to it.

Another reason they dont use windows is they can't mold it to their specific needs like they can do with *Nix. I'm also lead to believe that royalties (or whatever they should be called) would be less expensive using *Nix than windows.
