Games dont make people fat, the people who play them for hours upon end are responsible (or irresponsible, depending on your point of view). I dont think a game ever held me at gun point to play, and make me order McDonald's, not play sports with friends, just so I could get that Sword of Brilliance in EQ.
People need to be more resonsible in their habits, its not the games, because we all know they actually make us trained killers (sarcasm).
This is so true. The old games, you actually felt like something was accomplished when you finished them, after weeks or months of agaonizing pain of getting past a boss, or level. The past 8 years or so, with the advent of the internet, cheats are all over the place, and once one gets fustrated they load up www.gamefaqs.com or other like site. Also a lot of games today are more about the eye candy, than replayability/difficulty. The only real difficulty today is learning how to deal with a million buttons on the controllers!
If I recall correctly, when Yantis started out on Ebay and then playerauctions.com he was into law either as a lawyer or paralegal... All I do know is, this guy made a boatload of cash. I feel so meek that I made only ~$600 between selling my ranger account and some banded armor sets a few years ago! Then again, I had a social life outside EQ.
Back in my Atari/Coleco days, many joys were had at looking at all the boxes of games at Toys R Us. There they had slips of what the box front and back covers were... was like a dream with wall to wall games which were organized, unlike today's places such as EB where games are just tossed all over. Paying for a slip of paper sucked at Toys R Us at the counter, until you walked 10 more feet to the game pick up window!
Probably smoking crack. How many of these "analysts" know anything about linux, or the flavors, or really this SCO vs. the World thing? I would bet not too many.
No, the orbiter was the main (nt)

Beagle was going to be the icing on the cake. But the stuffing is the orbiter!

Not a bad idea considering after going to the crater, that they want to send it to some hill/mountain which it may never make within the 90 days of power.
Snap some shots of the Viking!

Wow, I have done a lot of looking at the US space missions of the past, yet I never looked into the Russian ones which obviously were impressive. I had no idea there were images from Venus' surface, awesome! Thanks for the link!
Mars isnt planned until 2020 or after. In the meantime there'd be time to move the Hubbell. Also dont attach it to the ISS, but maybe in an orbit similar and within reach of each other...
That is also a great idea. Cleaning up space junk should be a priority too, as there is too much up there already! Chances are, most can be recycled. As for the law issue, who knows, a new law field now will probably be formed. And that is the last thing we need, lawyers in space!!!!!!!!!!!!
I feel the same way.. The ISS seems like a waste of money to do experiments on low gravity on humans, or other animals/insects. Its there to let countries partake in space endeavors I suppose. By having the Hubbell close by, it does add a concrete reason to have the ISS up at all.
Since the US doesnt have a replacement planned to be sent up until 2010, and that by not servicing the HUbbell it may die by 2007.... Bringing it towards the ISS would allow it to be refitted and keep science moving forward!
This series I felt was underrated as well as underappreciated. Maybe it was too political and being that most of it only revolved around the star base probably had something to do with it. But with the plot lines of the Dominion and the Cardassians I felt this was a great series!
I think SFF's are great for the work environment as well as home users who dont upgrade etc. As for PC enthusiasts, the space is too limited to do upgrades easily. Also add in the fact most have integrated graphics means updating your machine into a gaming rig probably wont happen.
Getting out of the pit in ET wasnt too hard. The fucked up part was always falling into another one once out of the existing one. Pac Man just sucked, but was playable.
Pleaseeeeeeeeeeee dont direct it Lucas. I dont want Zahn's masterpiece ruined. This really would be a great trilogy. Grand Admiral Thrawn is such a great character, intelligent, patient, cunning, and down right evil against the New Republic. His 2nd in command Pelleaon is just as great. Other characters which would be kick ass on screen would be Mara Jade, Karrde, and Jourrus C'Boath!
I will use this little guy when I build or troubleshoot someone's system in my free time. It works out since its light, easy to store, and still works. Granted not the best since its resolution and color scheme is very outdated, but does come in very handy! I'll probably keep it around until it blows up:)
But at least you dont really need a memory card with the Xbox. Sure it is nice to have (I dont have a memory card and have had my Xbox since almost day 1), but it isnt a big necessity unless you are downloading a lot with Xbox Live.
Also since Sony is dominating the market currently in such force, does it matter who is in 2nd/3rd? Both are very far behind at this point in the game.

Sorry man, but that's pretty funny!

That they have to let Hubbell die a slow death. we dont have a replacement scheduled until 2010 or so. Maybe they can rig the ISS up with a telescope?
I think the message boards and chat rooms are about the same in terms of scum of the net...
Now........ *drum roll* Research Wars! Booyah! Go Google!

Dropping at an astronomical rate! But hey goatse was taken down due to some Aussie who was surprised by it!
