If this is a PR move, has anyone heard anything about SCO looking for someone to come forward in this capacity, or do they have previous business ties to SCO?
Runs on less platforms?
Doesn't run as many applications?
Any OS requires learning. More to the point, the applications that run on the OS have to be learned. Just because you are familiar with the system doesn't mean everyone is. You can pretend that Macs are intuitive, easy to use, whatever. In reality, anyone with no computer knowledge or someone coming from another system will have to learn how do things on a Mac.
There is no "right out of the box and use it without learning".
If a train leaves pittsburgh traveling west at 20 mph, and a train leaves denver traveling east at 30 mph , on the same track, where will they collide?

Not only that, they call it practicing medicine for a reason. If it is anything more than a simple ailment, the patient is nothing more than a test subject. There is too much "Let's try this" going on. People have too much faith in science. We just don't know as much as we think we do.
I would find it rather disturbing to have some salesperson, that I don't know, walk up to me and refer to me by name. Even if I know why they know my name, I'd still be uncomfortable with it.

Turns the screen or the border black? I remember sys64738 resets the system, but I've forgotten most, maybe all, of the C64 stuff.
The fact that they spead faster is simply because of the increased number of computer users and their access to the internet.
It is a good thing that nobody has release a modified MyDoom, Code Red, etc designed to do some serious damage. If they can set them to attack a server at a specific time, it shouldn't be a major task to do some major destruction at a specific time.
I have been out of school for a long time. I think grammar and spelling nazis around here have really helped me try to write well. I pay close attention to what I write and how I write it. I still screw up, but there has been improvement.
I thought this one was made by modifying an existing virus. The backdoor was already there, why go through the extra work to take it out, even if you are not going to use it?
Ok, let's save every piece of crap we accumulate in our lives, just because it might be worth something someday. That's a great idea. Your grandkids will end up paying to have your treasures hauled away, because most of it is crap and they can't be bothered to sort it out.
Let's see, there still seems to be some speculation as to whether President Bush knew that the information he was given was false, at the time of the speech, or not.
Did President Clinton know Lewinski's lips were wrapped around his cock?
As to the Lewinsky affair, so what? He got a blow job. Did he lie about? Sure, but who cares?
I don't care that he got a blowjob. I do care that he lied about it. It is a matter of credibility. He lied about that, what else did he lie about? What else was he willing to lie about?
He shouldn't have been put in a position where he had to lie about it.
He shouldn't have put himself in a position where he had to lie about it. I'm sorry, but Clinton isn't a stupid man. He should have known the consequences of his actions. He knew his position would cause him to be under scrutiny and should have avoided the whole situation.
I would prefer they figured out how much bandwidth they needed for their customer base, figure in growth, then honestly tell me how fast my connection will be and how much it will cost if I max it out 24/7. Then I can decide if it is worth the price.
I've heard of him, what does that have to do with anything? Gore is not Clinton, to assume that Gore would succeed because Clinton succeeded is foolish.
If his vice president had won more votes in the electoral college, his vice president would be president.
The thing you gentoo users fail to understand is that installing and configuring gentoo is a pain in the ass. I'm not saying it is hard, it is just tedious if you are just looking for something to do day to day tasks. Not everyone cares to know every detail of their system.
For years, everyone bitched about how hard it was to install Linux. Now that it is as easy as falling off a log, You guys are recommending a distro that ignores all that progress.
A politician would never tell you what you wanted to hear in order to get elected, would he?

Why do you need a C64 emulator, don't you still have a real one?
Thank you for sharing your valuable experience with us.
They are going to call you, just like they do now.

You can download a boot iso from Suse and do a network install, if you want to try it that bad. It is easy to do, I've done this a couple of times.
Bush received 271, Gore received 266. Where I come from 271 > 266.
Not a whole lot, really. I haven't used XFS and haven't read the article, so I don't have anything useful to say on the subject.

It is so easy to be the leader of a country. Anyone could just step right in there and do it. There's no pressure, no responsibility.
Talk is cheap, too bad these idiots will never have the chance to try. It would be fun to laugh at them as they fail.
To save time, count as high as you can in binary on one hand. If your theory is correct, you will reach 63. If not, you will reach 31.
