    The local bikers hold rides for toys, MD, probably others. Are they looked at any better because of it? If you are going to do something like this, do it because it makes you feel good. Nobody is going to think any better of you, as a group.

    How can a there be a 20th anniversary mac, if the mac was introduced in 1984?

    Unless my math really sucks, 2003-1984=19.

    If you have a 6 year old 20th anniversary mac, something is definitely wrong here.

    Crystal 3D Impact Pro might be worth looking at. I've used it, and it seems to have what you are looking for.

    Probably not. Look at the world of small business. People start businesses all the time. Sometimes they fail. These same people will start another business.

    I conducted an informal survey, and it seems you're right. Of all the people polled, nobody knew what a TI99/4A was. Oh well, I'm an old nerd. It could be worse.

    Old computer reference, not obscure. They were well known at the time. Just because you are not really old enough to remember something doesn't make it obscure.

    You brought up a good point. How many companies are going to pay some random invoice received in the mail? Most will probably just throw it away. Some might even open the envelope before doing so.

    Maybe we should wish in one hand and shit in the other, then see which one fills up faster.

    Microsoft is a corporation. they are not trying to create "community atmosphere", they are trying to sell a product. If projecting the illusion of "community atmosphere" will help them market that product, then they will try to create that illusion. They care about profits, nothing more, nothing less.
