    I'm glad to see that Google is going beyond their "Don't be evil" motto to "Be good". I applaud their apparent sense of social responsibility.

    I believe that much good can be achieved by large corporations who are willing to contribute to making the world a better place - whether it be through science for science's sake (e.g. Bell labs), welfare, world aid or whatever. I will be interested to see how this translates into a "for-profit" environment... presumably their profit margin expectations will not be as high as they might otherwise be?

    Not if it were combined with a method for periodically re-syncing... then you would still get the best of wiki (regular updates as they happen) but have it available offline also.

    Chaos reigned in the administration today as it received a communication from "Skippy", a Navy-trained bottlenose dolphin who was liberated from his holding tank along with 35 other dolphins when Hurricane Katrina struck.

    Hmm... somebody is having trouble keeping their various cute and lovable kid's show characters separate...

    I would highly recommend Firefox plugin/extension TargetAlert. This extension places a small icon next to links to indicate the type of link it is, including a small PDF icon for PDF files, a Word icon for Word files etc.

    I knew it was a PDF link :-)
