    I _think_ the phrase you want is "battery life", but I'm not sure.

    By whom? Heathens perhaps. SMB 1, 2 and 3 were for the NES. The cart for the SNES was the same games just touched up a bit. So surely, the NES versions are the definitive ones...

    Quite why he chose not to include Mario 64 and Mario Sunshine, I dunno, but he looks pretty cool in them.

    The great thing about OpenSSH is it compiles cleanly on Solaris, Irix, HPUX, HPUX on Itanium (on which _nothing_ compiles cleanly), AIX, Tru64, Linux, *BSD....

    Makes my life so much easier as I can get SSH up and running nice and quick. If only all major open source projects compiled this easily.

    Replying to my own post, but the bit I didn't pay enough attention to was:

    "Fiddling a few values here and there I went into Spiral Mountain and a cutscene awaited me. The camera focused on Angel Bottles.".

    I assume that cutscene isn't available if you don't "fiddle a few values".
    I blame the dark green tiny text on the black background myself.... :)

    Where does it say it's an unlocked hidden feature thing? The article just says it's a cutscene, so like, just part of the normal game? Am I missing something?

    The fastiron is fine for the job. Upgrade to a BigIron 15k or something if you want more ports.

    If your fastiron is unreliable, it's broken and you need it fixed, it's not normally broken.

    The LiNX runs on BigIron 8k and Exreme Networks blackdiamonds, both of which are pretty damn good.

    Exactly. I've been asking the exact same thing. There's no excuse for it, that's like the _whole_ _point_ of DVDs, and the whole "other camera angles" thing. You could easily switch between original and broken versions.

    Erm. Doom3 is already out, and the demos were about 2 years ago. So go buy it.

    Or just use your normal credit card and if any transactions turn up that you didn't make, you report it, and they're immediately refunded.
    The company then sends you a form listing recent transactions and you tick the ones you made and sign the form. You get your money back very easily.
    Been there, done that. Not lost a penny.

    GPS unit from RS plus some bits to tie into a GSM phone and send GPS co-ordinates over GPRS every few minutes. The bus stop's sign would just download the information from the same server you uploaded the GPS co-ordinates to.

    Simple and used by numerous people / companies already.

    There was a trailer for The Incredibles in the cinema when Finding Nemo came out. It's also on the DVD.

    And it's still 174 days until it comes out according to the website. Hurry up! I lost interest when the film didn't come out within a week of seeing the trailer. Stop tempting with things that are years away, damn you!

    Free as in beer means I can't modify it? I'm pretty sure I can modify beer. Certainly do everytime I consume it. Also, can't I take the article and modify it and say "this article is based on this other article". Fair use and all that.

    Good answer. I managed to guess the meaning, just had never heard it before. Me, when I communicate, I like to use words that other people would have heard before. Unlike effusively. Mebbe I'm just uneducated.
