The SNES versions of Super Mario Bros 1, 2 and 3 are considered the definitive Marios.
By whom? Heathens perhaps. SMB 1, 2 and 3 were for the NES. The cart for the
SNES was the same games just touched up a bit. So surely, the NES versions are
the definitive ones...
Quite why he chose not to include Mario 64 and Mario Sunshine, I dunno, but he looks pretty cool in them.
The great thing about OpenSSH is it compiles cleanly on Solaris, Irix, HPUX, HPUX on Itanium (on which _nothing_ compiles cleanly), AIX, Tru64, Linux, *BSD....
Makes my life so much easier as I can get SSH up and running nice and quick. If only all major open
source projects compiled this easily.

And instantly I thought of the start of Monty Python and the Holy Grail.
Where does it say it's an unlocked hidden feature thing? The article just says
it's a cutscene, so like, just part of the normal game? Am I missing something?
Exactly. I've been asking the exact same thing. There's no excuse for it,
that's like the _whole_ _point_ of DVDs, and the whole "other camera angles"
thing. You could easily switch between original and broken versions.
Or just use your normal credit card and if any transactions turn up that you didn't make, you report it, and they're immediately refunded. The company then sends you a form listing recent transactions and you tick the ones you made and sign the form. You get your money back very easily. Been there, done that. Not lost a penny.
GPS unit from RS plus some bits to tie into a GSM phone and send GPS co-ordinates over GPRS every few minutes. The bus stop's sign would just download the information from the same server you uploaded the GPS co-ordinates to.
Simple and used by numerous people / companies already.
According the Brtish tabloid The Sun and This will be announced soon according the article.
Am I the only one that shuddered at such grammatical construction? Surely the word to is dying out to be in there? Also British is spelt British not Brtish. But come on. Use of the word to is not a crime. Use it. Now.
There was a trailer for The Incredibles in the cinema when Finding Nemo came out. It's also on the DVD.
And it's still 174 days until it comes out according to the website. Hurry up! I lost interest when the film didn't come out within a week of seeing the trailer. Stop tempting with things that are years away, damn you!
Free as in speech means that you have a freedom with it, as in free to alter to your liking.
Free as in beer means I can't modify it? I'm pretty sure I can modify beer. Certainly do everytime I consume it. Also, can't I take the article and modify it and say "this article is based on this other article". Fair use and all that.
Good answer. I managed to guess the meaning, just had never heard it before. Me, when I communicate, I like to use words that other people would have heard before. Unlike effusively. Mebbe I'm just uneducated.
Do you get paid for mentioning the word "autonomy"? Half the article comments I've read today have you saying autonomy about 150 times.
I _think_ the phrase you want is "battery life", but I'm not sure.

Replying to my own post, but the bit I didn't pay enough attention to was:
:)
"Fiddling a few values here and there I went into Spiral Mountain and a cutscene awaited me. The camera focused on Angel Bottles.".
I assume that cutscene isn't available if you don't "fiddle a few values".
I blame the dark green tiny text on the black background myself....

but insight as to both how Apple's design process works, and how the scroll wheel itself works.
The article doesn't say how the scroll wheel works. It also doesn't mention anything about Apple's design process...
The fastiron is fine for the job. Upgrade to a BigIron 15k or something if you want more ports.
If your fastiron is unreliable, it's broken and you need it fixed, it's not normally broken.
The LiNX runs on BigIron 8k and Exreme Networks blackdiamonds, both of which are pretty damn good.
Yup. same here. A few people have submitted this bug, it just gets tagged as a duplicate!
Been waiting a week for it to be fixed now, all the time getting American Politics rammed down my throat.
and stop whining.
I'd love to. Make it happen. Funnily enough, it's outside my control cos I'm not running the country.
Until then, give us cheap stuff.

With "Demo" you mean "leaked alpha build that is in no way representative of the finished game"?
Yes.
I can't wait for a doom3 demo, let alone a half life 2 demo.
Erm. Doom3 is already out, and the demos were about 2 years ago. So go buy it.

I've been using my human power to get to the Internet during power outages
Does running down the street shouting "HELP! Does anyone have 'net access at the moment? I need the interweb!" really count?
Seattle is a 6-8 hour drive from the Pacific Ocean. It's about 150 miles from the coast.
30mph the whole way? Calm down, you'll wear out that 5.6 litre V8.
H&D 1 had surround sound support and it's years and years old. It was fabulous, you could hear yourself getting shot from all sorts of directions.
Or just use A Navman MDT800.

The plates are the same shape and size as conventional plates, and are permanently fitted to the vehicle in the same way. says the article.
So, attached by 2 screws then? Damn that permanent fitting. How will we ever get around it?

The source code to IOS was floating round the net about 5 years ago. Obviously not the same as the latest version...
