Don't forget to involve your 3242739487298374239487203894702389472308947234ms latency in that calculation. (I swear to God if someone mods me down because that isn't a proper calculation..)
Given that it is completing an orbit every 90 minutes, it is passing over every meridian - several times tonight. Parallel-wise, I don't know where you are. Determining whether it's passing overhead is impossible given that.
There's no demand for something like that, in my opinion. You'd still be paying your $40-90/mo for your service plan with your cell provider. What's the point in it trying to use 802.11 when it can? Saving minutes? Just really not worth it. Again, IMO.
I do the same, it's illegal for them to make an unsolicited call to my cell phone. I put it EVERYWHERE I'm required to fill in a number, and I've gotten 5-10 calls in two years with it. Compared to the 3-5 per day I receive on my landline.
And, we Americans, can't believe that the Swedes put up with per-minute telephone service. I pay $20 per month for unlimited telephone access. Then I pick up an ISP for $7.95 per month.
$27.95/mo = unlimited local telephone service and internet access. Do the math.
My friends and I call that the GTA effect. When we're out driving we see a sportbike and go "PCJ!". When I'm following someone in traffic , I see a yellow arrow spinning above their vehicle. God help us.
As much as I despise Outlook's vulnerable status, the consensus in our group is that Valve probably had it at www.valve.com/hl2source.tar.gz, and they were so embarassed they engineered this story.
A joke. Food for thought. If I get modded flamebait for this, I'm going to cry at slashdot's sad state of humor.
Me.

across 7000km.
Using current technology, a DVD -- or digital video disc -- film of some 90 minutes length takes some 15 minutes to download from the Internet.

from Arkansas. That's $524,000/month, jackass. More than $6.3M/year. They just saved a ton.
This DOES move one camera around the subject. It just provides a tripod with a sliding rail.
Open Source, eh? Bravo.

Don't IEEE numbers use the Dewey Decimal system as the theme for their specs? 802.11a, 802.3, etc.
You still live in your parents' basement then?
As you can see, the parent author's brain has been thoroughly rotted.
